Drell -> Fish, right?
Thane -> Drell,
Therefore, Thane -> Fish...
So if he's a fish, how come he has a disease preventing him from getting wet? It's a bit strange to think that one of the Drell's main diseases we know of in Lore is that they can't get wet once they have Kepler's...considering they're fish.

Almost everything in this post is wrong to baffling degree.
Drell are not fish, and I really don't know what gave you that idea. Drell are reptiles from a dry, aird world. So pretty much the opposite of fish.
It's not 'Kepler's Syndrome', it's Kepral's Syndrome. Kepler was a human astronomer. Kepral is a made up word for a made up disease.
And the bit I have the most difficulty wrapping my head around: 'how come he has a disease preventing him from getting wet?'
WTF? Did you pay even the slightest bit of attention to the game?
Kepral's Syndrome is a degenerative condition brought about by excess moistiure in drell lungs, caused by extended habitation in humid environments. Basically, he's dying because his lungs are slowly being killed off by breathing in too much water from the air.

My bad, they look like fish thoug hand have gills, that's how I thought they were, plus Kepral's Syndrome is actually real, based on a real disease for human beings and infact a known fan of Mass Effect on this forum was known to have the disease it was based off, so please don't be so ignorant to think it's fake, it's rather offensive. Plus the confrontational behaviour can really stop, I was asking a question as although I did listen to most things, I never really listened to Thane, his voice is hard for me to understand as I'm not good with American accents [On any of the characters] and his sound-effects made it harder.
Plus onto the original thing, as someone pointed out they are indeed from a desert planet it seems, which I didn't know, although they still look like fish and have gills, which is where I was thrown off.

It is very loosely (apparently anyway, there's nothing to suggest it isn't just coincidental) based on cystic fibrosis, which is a very serious but fundamentally different condition.
And there's nothing wrong with asking questions, but a little very easy fact checking beforehand would not only have cleared up a few of the things you were muddled on, but would also have answered the original question there and then.
If you can't find the answer to a mass effect question here, it probably hasn't been addressed at all in the games or books.
As for the fish thing, well I guess I can't fault you if you thought they were gills. I mean, they've never looked like them to me, but I knew going in to it that Thane was a lizard. To me, he's also invoked imagery more like this:

Retour en haut
