which version is better for shepard,tali, and legion?
ai hacking or area hacking?

I recommend Improved AI Hacking. With Area AI Hacking, I find that you end up with the hacked enemies fighting each other and they rarely kill each other.

area is kind of funny near the end of Legions loyalty mission, you can hack a group advancing then activate one rocket drone, and pretty much everything dies on that side of the room. other than that I agree with redcaesar improved is probably the more useful option.
