I love it when a small minority complained about Elevators, the decision was to "Fix" them in the same way that you "Fix" a pet, by neutering it. So now, instead of these "Boring Elevators" with funny character interactions, we have loading screens that interrupt our immersion.

But this isn't the worst of it. Do you remember docking with the Citadel, or landing in Noveria and ACTUALLY WALKING OUT YOUR AIRLOCK, and BOOM, YOU ARE on the planet? No loading screens, now crappy cutscenes, you ACTUALLY WALKED OUT OF YOUR SHIP.

I miss this. A lot. :(

Yup, I want Elevators back. They were funny. And if they weren't there by ME1, we'd never have had the brilliant end-run up the Citadel tower.

*raises hand* yep. I liked the elevators and the airlock cuz it didnt take you out of the game, plus im a character artist (want to be) and it gave me time to appreciate the game models, and i loved the banter. Just need more banter to help get through those load times. Didn't need to take them out entirely.

I don't need the whole decontamination thing, but being able to leave through the airlock would be nice. And avoid the whole sillyness where the Normandy takes off even if you'r just going back to change your helmet.

The banter between squadmates was the best part of elevators, helped flesh out there personality and views on certain things.

Also it was interesting getting missions simply by using the elevators and listening to the news networks.

I complained about the elevators in ME1 cause there were so many of them, but yeah after ME2 I'd rather have elevators. As for the airlock, eh I don't really care.

I loved the character interactions. Yes, the waiting was tedious but I got to see that the characters were real and interacted with one another. I loved that about KOTOR and KOTOR 2. It added a real dynamic to the world. In ME2 now it seems the only way the rest of my squad interacts with one another is when Shepard is speaking. It's like they need his/her permission to talk.

Also, I want to be able to go back to the Normandy on the hub worlds without taking off right away. I just came on the ship because I got this new research/mod and want to try it out. We don't need to leave I have other things to do yet.

Yes, I loved it to pieces and was a bit miffed it was taken out. I hope it returns in ME3 -- or something akin to it.

If it doesn't, however, that's fine too. It was nice but it wasn't the most important element ever.

Actually I got a very funny scene in ME2 relating to that. It only opens up if you are with Tali and Garrus and you walk down one of the flights of stairs on the Citidel.

Garrus:  "Don't you miss the conversations we'd have on the elevators in the Cididel?"

Tali:  "I have a shotgun."

Garuus: "We'd share our adventures and experiences and bond.  Good times."

Tali: "I mean it.  I have a Shotgun."

I am going from memory, but I think it's pretty close.

I don't think I'm THAT keen on seeing them back, but yeah. I'd like to have those in-game moments of transition back.

Actually the majority hated the elevators and airlock. Otherwise they wouldn't have changed it. You are in the minority for liking a ridiculous, time consuming nuisance that you and others like you like to account as an actual feature to the game.

The 'majority' hated a good number of things in ME1 that ME3 is bringing back. Just saying.

I didn't really like the elevators or airlocks in ME1, but I wouldn't care if they made a return in ME3.

The Mako better not be one of them.

Yeah well, I actually preferred the Hammerhead anyway -- a belief that in some places on BSN could get me shot, mind you.

I don't remember walking out of the ship. I remember pressing a button, waiting, then MAGIC CLOTHES

That sounds like a loading screen to me, actually.
