So you prefer the equally long Loading Screens?

Actually the majority hated the elevators and airlock. Otherwise they wouldn't have changed it. You are in the minority for liking a ridiculous, time consuming nuisance that you and others like you like to account as an actual feature to the game.

The 'majority' hated a good number of things in ME1 that ME3 is bringing back. Just saying.

I know but from what I can gather it is only the good things that I liked. The only thing from ME1 they could bring back that would absolutely ****** me off is making thermal clips magically vanish and going back to the retarded overheating system that made encounters in ME1 loleasy. That and the ****ING MAKO!

I'm not sure about the elevators but i think i read somewhere here that the airlock is back for ME 3. i wouldn't mind the airlock at first but it took a bit long for it to finish and enter the ship otherwise it looked really cool. as for the elevators i would have loved it if there was more than just a few lines you know ? so no i didn't like the wait of the airlock but if they somehow manage to make it shorter then yeah awesome and i'd be happy if there is enough of interaction between characters if elevators are coming back, unlike ME 1

Texas, we just want some form of in-game transition that doesn't break immersion or create choppy level flow.

That's because you're on a puny Xbox. We PC gods didn't even have the sentence finish before we were on the planet/on the Normandy.

I don't see how the airlock beats the shuttle, personally.

I don't like the fact that in ME1 I had to walk 20 miles every time I wanted to get back to my ship and leave the damn planet/space station. That is my beef.

When people say they liked the elevators, they're usually talking about the conversations that happened in the elevators. Not at all the same thing, since you can do those convos without elevators.

As for the airlock, it was kind of annoying to have to re-dock the ship when you're doing another mission on the same hub world.

I don't miss the airlock. The elevators had banter going for them, but they weren't much better than the airlock since the recorded dialogue never lasted long enough to distract you from the entire trip.

I only see one solution. All missions take place onboard the Normandy.

Bioware can have this idea for free. Just put me in the credits somewhere.

I would rather have the elevator player banter than load screens. If it has to be one or the other I will take the news announcements and npc talk.

Not all of us. I've still got a crappy IDE drive. My load times seem to be about as bad aas an XBox.

It's got to do more with memory than your hard drive I think. I think.

This, not to mention the dialogue is completely gone after you finished all of the side-missions and finished your second story planet, giving you nothing but repeated newscasts about whatever the hell you did in those missions.

So what's wrong with creating fast-travel options alongside an in-game transition? You walk up to a terminal on the Presidium, choose to return to the Normandy, and boom. You're back. If you'd like, you can also take the elevator to the docking bay itself and enter through the airlock.

It would have been nice to have use of the airlock when docking on Illium and Omega. Often I would just want to go back and apply an upgrade, not go soaring off into space.

Psssh, EA isn't spying. And Origin is wonderful, look at this thread.

Eh, not really. Not that the loading screens are much better, since they run the whole loading video even if the map is done loading.

For ME3, Bioware should stick with the loading screens, but make them cut off once the map has loaded (mainly for the console, since PC users can just go in and fix it themselves easily).
