I would like to say thank you as well, and thanks for reporting this, Chris. I'm not sure I'll go near even the revised edition unless it takes plenty of care toward giving at least some semblance of emotional relevance to its cast and a sense of gravity to the characters that perish in the narrative. But it's nice to see that something has come of this.

IMO the best suggestion for re-edit came from someone in the first topic.
Somewhere after the first 50 pages there is page that just says "Not ME related. LOCKDOWN!" and rest of pages would be blank.

Nice with a response but seriously how do you repair that book wouldn't it be far easier in the end to hire a new author and start a new book?
Kind of like a bomb went of in your house and the only way to move forward is to demolish the house completely and start building a new one.

We did it guys. At least we made sure that the future editions won't do as much harm to the canon. Go ME fanbase! And Bioware/Del Rey, you guys rock for listening to us. This could have been made into a hushed-up shameful slip in merchandising, but you guys are confronting the issue head-on. Props.

I think I´ll still pass however, even with so many continuity mistakes, the plot and pointless deaths aren´t likely to change. Hoping to be wrong.
