What happened? I heard Revan has a canon now. Hope he or she does not look like a muppet. Revan was really badass with the mask, i hope he or she does not have a face.

I honestly don't understand why so many people were against canon Revan: It would nearly impossible to continue Revan's story in a cinematic way without giving him a solid charatcer. Drew has given Revan a strong, yet calm and collected personality that reflects the fact that he was both a Jedi and a Dark Lord of the Sith.

The fact that he was thrown in stasis and fed on by the Emperor is a little irritating, but there's a nice resolution if you play SW:TOR.

Revan does have a face, and we do see it; taking the art style of the game into consideration, I think they did very well. He's handsome, but not extremely so, and has a nice dignified feel.

Thats what I have been thinking... unless the plan  on giving it a complete  "Rebuild"  treatment like whats being done with Evangelion  but that major errors in Deception  if change make the novel  even worst..

People seem to associate autism with mental retardation for some reason.

Walking up to two armed Cerberus dudes in Ascension.. If they hadn't recognized her, she woul have been shot, how is that an intelligent thing to do? It's not like she KNEW she could kill them. She clearly wasn't in full control of her powers yet at that point. She also walked away from her hiding place when the Idenna cam under attack.. another dumb thing to do.  

She doesn't think the way you do, she left her hiding place on the Idenna because she was alone. It may not seem logical to you, but in her mind her actions made sense.

The only errors that hurt to read in my opinion was the timeline. I kind of enjoyed the story because 3 Mary Sues got totally owned.

If they insist on killing Nick and Gillian but also remain faithful to canon they will be murdering two minors, which apparently was what they were trying to avoid by completely screwing up the ages in the first place.

Seeing as its just been mentioned by ODST; I really hope that Gillian's 15, like she's supposed to be, and isn't hit up "Ten credit," drugs and offered "Six humps a day."

Only Bioware could release a novel that needs patching.

I wonder if that will become the norm as ebooks become standard over hard copies. You will receive an un-edited, incomplete book on release day, and have to wait 3 months for a patch.

Drew couldn't write this one; I was really looking forward to it. It's still non-canon in my book.

Besides that...Anderson "steps down" in Retribution. If you made him Councilor he steps down from that...if not he steps down from being Udina's...w/e he is.
