yeah stickies are easy, for someone who is in the "scene". Which is not me. I have no idea what all of these are about. Its good to see a knowledgeable member of the community.

So basically i took

-Companion and Monster AI 2.2
-Spell Fixes and Improvements version 6.05
-Feat Selection Fixes v1.22
-The Complete Craftsman

And thats it on the bugfixes field? Somehow not much has changed since 1.02. I vaguely remember the complete craftsman being pretty buggy back then. Is it still now? Also are these compatible with the platinum edition? Thanks!

edit: this too!    -NWN2 MotB Makeover SoZ Edition :)

MotB Makeover is an enhancement for MotB. If you intend to play the OC you should get the OC Makeover as well.

I see, thats very interesting. Looks like a great mod, how the hell could i miss it. I was about to edit campagn files to allow multiclassing, but i see your mod has this feature already. Reading the readme, does this mean i also can use haggle skills of party members instead of the main char? That would be super, i recall it was highly annoying. I see it adds recipies too. Do you by chance know if its compatible with the complete craftsman? Would hate to break the game.

Party members will be allowed to talk to most NPC's, so yes the communication skills of the party members are not pointless as they are in the unmodified OC. That bothered me also.

I don't know enough about the complete craftsman to know. My guess is that it would be compatible since I doubt the complete craftsman breaks the SoZ crafting which I what I use in the Makeover.  If you install the Makeover where I recommend though and you have the Complete Craftsman installed in the override folder then the CC will work fine and the OC Makeover crafting will not work. I designed it that way so most mods would override the Makeover rather than the Makeover overriding other mods.

This.
If you want LOTS of custom stuff that are not buggy, are constantly updated and has many bug-fixes for most stuff, get Kaedrin's pack. If you are only interested in Spell Fixes mostly, get Reeron's.
Warning: Not everything is compatible with anything. (Kaedrin's pack is not compatible with Spell Fixes or Complete Craftsman)

My, personal, must-haves are Companion AI and Kaedrin's pack.

Kaldor's stuff is amazing too, if you want a more hardcore DnD experience.

excuse me but is this like PRC in nwn1, then it was not available in Biowares single player campaigns anyway?

Kaedrin's pack implements a large number of Prestige classes (PrC). And fixes a bunch of bugs as well.

The OC Makeover implements some of the SoZ features into the OC, like the crafting system, death/resurrection system, party creation system, multi-classing companions, and allowing companion conversation skills to matter.

Yes but at a much smaller scale. PRC had WAY too much stuff for it's own good and was bloated in my opinion and very buggy (I am not sure how buggy it is now).

Kaedrin's pack has some nice races/classes/prestige classes/feats/spells/bug fixes. And it works with almost every module including the OCs.

Aww, Kaldor Silverwand sorry i cant find a thread dedicated to the "makeover" mod to post questions. Is this the correct name? Probably should go there. About the only reason i wanted CC is to allow upgrading fully enchanted items. Does "makeover" allow this too?

Or that Kaedrin pack. Meh, so many choices, im confused.

The links to the OC and MotB Makeover pages in the vault are in my signature lines at the bottom of my posts.

That said, no, they do not alter the restrictions on the number of enchantments on items. I don't think Kaedrin's does either.

My advice? With all the expansions and patches, the game is perfectly playable. There are a few bugs, most of which you won't notice. TonyK's AI mod will turn your party into an uncontrollable chicken fire drill. Learn judicious micromanagement instead, because it's the only thing that really works tactically. As for Kaedrin's mod, I've had it screw up so many character sheets that I won't go near it. If you are bored already and need a bunch of new classes, go ahead, but don't say I didn't warn you. Take the time to learn the game unmodded, so you'll know if someone else's idea of a bug (or improvement) really is. If you want custom characters and are only playing single player, get an editor and make your own.

As for Kaldor, I've not used his makeovers, since they came out after my first and only run through the original games. His custom content is excellent, so you might want to give them a try on a second run-through.

The above is my own, distinctly minority opinion. Download community-made modules (as opposed to mods) instead.

NWN2 Plot Fixes - WRFan
Collection of plot fixes for NWN2. So far only NWN2 OC & MoB fixes are included. Extract into the Override directory. To be updated....

fixes, im not sure vanilla is so flawless. I just run into this problem with Caleb being impossible to persuade. And i distinctively remember when playing 5 years ago (hah) having this fixed by some mod, but cant find it, nor remember its name. Old forums are gone...

Does Kaedrin's mod fixes anything in the story/plot? Cause the linked mod too suffers from the problem of the author implementing too much of his opinions. (he forced a lesbian romance, which is great, but as a side effect it also forces gay romance with Casavir :xxxxx ) But at least Kaedrin's mod is still maintained.

The vanilla game is indeed perfectly playable. It's definitely not flawless, but no game is. I'm talking about "game" bugs, not OC bugs.

I'm pretty sure that Kaedrin hasn't fixed any OC-specific bug, unless indirectly.
