Twilight

I was "forced" to watch it and a part of me died during that abomination.

Antichirist,Human Centipede and all those "gross out" films that have no plot and terrible acting relying on simple shock value.

Antichrist wasn't about shock value.
But I personally didn't find it very good anyway...

It really was a shock value film. They just decided to put as many violent scenes in the film as they could to hide the fact the plot makes no sense.

Speak for yourself.

Twilight, for me. Or maybe it's the fans.
2012 and Transformers too, perhaps. But I suppose these three have at least mild value in hype/fantasy-fulfilling/enterntainment. Any movie tries to.

Worst movie ever...that's a tough one. I've seen "legendary bad films" like Manos: The Hands of Fate, but it's not like anyone went in to those expecting them to be good.

In terms of sheer intellectual offensiveness, however, nothing beats Michael Bay's Transformers. The first one was bad, the second one was even worse (something I did not believe possible). Only someone as incompetent as Bay could make a Transformers film where the Transformers were reduced to supporting characters, and where the actual protagonists are a lot of exceptionally annoying humans. Then there's the utterly atrocious comic relief characters, (Skids and Mudflap standing out as the worst of the lot), the film's interminable running time, and Michael Bay's obvious fetish for the US military.

So Bayformers is easily the one film series I'd like to see erased from our cultural consciousness.

There isn't one. If they had ever made a sequel to 'Highlander' entitled 'Highlander 2' starring Sean Connery and Christopher Lambert and directed by Russell Mulcahy then it would be that one, but since such a movie was never made and does not exist, there are no movies that deserve to be immolated.

Hm, Think you would like a guy called Spoony. If there was anything like that he probably reviewed it an tore it a new one

I barely made it to the appearance of Sean Connery before turning this one off... forever.

I haven't seen any of these, but their descriptions do make them sound amusing...

The Phantom Menace. It was a Star Wars movie I was too bored to watch shortly after the thirty minute mark. I repeat: it was a Star Wars movie that sucked. Okay, I know the prequels are considered fecal matter by many, but as a Star Wars fan that was hyped up at the time, it was a titanic disappointment. I never expected to see a bad Star Wars movie. It blew my mind.

As a huge Johnny Depp fan, I can only kill this abomination with fire, frost, acid, biotics and anything remotely capable of destroying something. Yes, it's that bad.

I saw a fair portion of this movie some time ago...

The film is currently ranked #2 on the IMDb Bottom 100 films of all time. It is unanimously considered one of the worst cinematic creations on the planet.

War of the Worlds 2 : The Next Wave - the only movie I have ever bought - not watched to the end - then thrown out.

Seriously. It wasn't aimed at a particular demographic, it wasn't people not taking it too seriously, it was people who actually thought this movie was good and tried to act in it.

It is the worst waste of time, resources, space you will ever come across.

The Thin Red Line. Never sat through such a pretentious, boring piece of blatant "oh go on, give us some Oscars" rubbish in my life.

Three hours that bloody thing lasted! I'll never get those back, at least not with modern science. I'm angry just remembering it exists. No, livid.

I have to admit that I was expecting you to trash Hedwig to wind me up, but I completely agree with your post.

If Thin Red Line had catchy songs instead of soldiers spouting philosophy, it'd be a tie.
