I keep seeing Conrad Verner as a Citadel Truther

TruthHax, like others have said, as Wikileaks. Although, Cerberus really could be behind TruthHax and using it as a very clever way of feeding us propaganda and disinformation...

Oh, noes!

or maybe if the Alliance were the ones behind truthhax.

or the Alliance is behind Cerberus behind TruthHax

It all makes sense now

Pfft, you want a real conspiracy theory?

*cracks knuckles*

This so called "leak" is just yet another case of the Military-Industrial-Complex that controls the Mainstream Media trying to discredit all alternative viewpoints. Anyone who questions the official view is smeared as a conspiracy theorist who believes in giant AI Dreadnoughts!

Anyone who has examined the evidence of the so called "Battle of the Citadel" can see that it was obviously a FALSE FLAG OPERATION. Look at all the contradictions in the official story. There is no way the fleet could have reached the Citadel without FOREWARNING. Why did key MILITARY, INTELLIGENCE AND CORPORATE personnell leave the Citadel just before the so-called "Battle'? How did the "Geth" gain the technology and intelligence to attack the very centre of Council Space?

The only explanation that makes sense is that the "Geth" were actually created by the MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL-COMPLEX to provide an EXCUSE for curbing our liberties and outrageous profiteering!

Don't even get me started on the pathetic attempts to claim the Collectors were behind the abductions of dissidents!

Nice.

I hope that there's something similiar to your post in ME3, like in the ANN, it certainly should be something that comes up in-universe.

I'm wondering if Jessica can answer this.

With this new Alliance News blog, will we still be getting Cerberus News for the two weeks leading up to the release of Mass Effect 3?

Same here.

I don't see why both of these can't work in tandem with each other.

Why should he? You should learn some manners before posting like a ****. It will be pathetic if there is no trial. A hugely missed opportunity to finally answer for everything and prove we were right. It's also, oh I don't know, one of the things Bioware said will happen and Admiral Hackett at the end of Arrival DLC.

Ahh, those conspiracy theorists. What will they say next? Shepard was actually dead for 2 years? The protheans didn't build the mass relays, and the mass relays are millions of years old?

These people need to get a life!

Thanks.

Personally I'm hoping for a character who insists war is never a solution and suggests that we instead give-peace-a-chance and negotiate with the Reapers.<_<

I wonder if any merc bands got there hands on reaper tech? Maybe even cerberus will use reaper indoctrination tech for evil purposes?

Really looking forward to more of these. At first like others I thought it was a real leak about the game itself so was a little hesitant to click it. Wouldn't really mind if this replaced the Cerberus News.

Uh, that one not so much. =]

But seriously, from an in-universe perspective of someone experiencing a 'reaping,' I'm say it can easily be brought up within the utter hopelessness that could set in. Reminds me of the movie, The Mist, in a way.

Funny thing about conspiracy theories is that sometimes they turn out to be true...

also

"Prime Minister Shastri was confronted with questions about the report today at a routine press conference, but waved them off, saying only: “It’s a big galaxy. The geth are one of many threats we talk about, and rest assured, the Alliance will be prepared for whatever comes our way.” "

Riiight...

Question to the devs, this won't replace the Cerberus Daily News, will it?

It's said that it'll "resume 2 weeks before the release of Mass Effect 3", I hope you guys didn't forget.

Ye, if our elected leaders were covering up the existence of superadvanced synthethic life, they are certainly doing a better job of that than anything else!

Funny thing, the alliance says its ready for anything, but as we've seen, the fleet gets decimated.

What would be really cool (and unlikely) is if the Cerberus Daily News were to kick in the two weeks before ME3, as was promised, and publish claims contrary to these ANN reports. Think Cerberus' Fox News to the Alliance's NYTimes.

We can dream.

You say that like we'll ever get rid of Fox news.
In the future it just becomes Wusterland News
