Oh yeah! Kinda like how the screen in ME2 showed beyond the Omega 4 Relay... at the time it kind of doesn't make sense, but then you realize *holy f balls thats the end of the game!!!*
p.s. does this technically count as a spoiler? <_<

1. Go to Antarctica
2. Cut a large hole in the ice exposing the water beneath
3. Open a few cases of peas and line the hole with individual peas
4. When a Reaper comes up to take a pea, kick it in the ice hole
Problem solved :
All kidding aside, it is going to take the cooperation of the entire galaxy to get rid of the Reapers and it is going to be one heck of a fight.

The story has not hinted at any home planet, it's likely they just sit out in darkspace while hibernating.BettyBlueGT wrote...
Do the reapers even have a home planet...
As for destroying the reapers, I don't think that's going to happen, drive them back into dark space is more likely, it took most of the citadel fleet to take down one reaper in ME1, there are 1000s perhaps 100s of 1000s of reapers on the way, I've not seen the leaked scripts, but some hints are making me think this is not a win situation but a survival one.

Even if we blast a giant space nuke through the Citadel relay to Dark Space and blow up the Reaper homeworld... there's still the tiny problem of THOUSANDS of Reapers all over the galaxy WRECKING everything hardstyle!
What can we possibly do to stop them ALL? Sure we can stop a few, but the numbers are just overwhelming.
Even destroying the Mass Relays isn't an option as we will effectively be destroying the homeworlds of dozens of races, killing billions.
I can't get my head around it!
Can I just ask you, why does every single story have to have a happy ending?
Blakes Seven didn't exactly end well.
The film 300 didn't exactly end well for the protagonists either.
I'm happy to see humanity and the other humanoid races either exterminated or enslaved.
The happy ending in my opinion should be the most difficult ending to get. I would have 14 different endings and only one of them would involve the defeat of the Reapers. The other 13 would be endings for not making the right judgements.
Mass Effect 3 doesn't have to have a happy ending to be a great game. Let the Reapers win for all I care. It happens every time I see this screen anyway.
Mas Effect 3 doesn't even happen if either of these endings took place (Mass Effect 2 spoilers ahead)
Arrival gone wrong.
Suicide Mission gone wrong.
Therefore Reapers win.

Not going to happen, but I agree fully with you that it does not require a happy ending, I think anyone going into ME3 expecting an all out win happy ending are in for a major dissapointment, super hero Shep is not gonna be as super as they hope, as I said already, this is going to be about survival not winning.Abraham_uk wrote...

Thank you. All out win happy endings are boring and dissapointing anyway. Give me Blakes Seven ending over Indiana Jones Crystal Skull ending any day. In other words please no marriage between Shepard and love interest. If you really must, I'd rather marriage was implied rather than shown. As much as I love weddings I'd rather see them in real life.
If we are going to beat the Reapers, kill every character we care about. Grant us tears please.
In other words, more of this:crying: and less of this:wizard:.
I'm a nasty guy
