...it was ****** ME OFF! I am so ready for Mass Effect 3 to come out just so I can shove a big knobbly up Kai Leng's ass. Everything went EXACTLY as the Illusive Man wanted while all the characters I grew to love from these books got killed off with no sacrifice or purpose! I think I hate Cerberus more than the Reapers. Someone needs to finally teach them what it means to be a whelp in the pits of Hell. They deserve it. And ooohh, are they going to get it.....

Save your anger for the Reapers. Compare to The Reapers, Cerberus is meaningless.

its a real shame about Gillian would have like to have her on my squad, the book was ok I found it full of mistakes however, Kia Leng is going to get a phalanx to the face when I see him

Finished the book just now; even with all the mass effect lore issues, story was good - ending was SHOCKING, and i agree with OP, someone is gonna pay. Too bad the editor for the writer had his head up his bum, but otherwise, good book. Of course, biggest issue was Gillian herself. Went from being a savant type character to totally normal.....that's some awesome space medicine
