I did it as an adept, which was a mistake, since all my quickly recharging throws were useless against guys with shields, barriers, and armor, which every enemy seems to have. It got easier when I got an assault rifle on the Collector ship but it still took about 80 hours to scan every planet and do all the missions including DLC.
