Hi, sorry if this is in a bad place, was unsure where to post.

I've been trying to register my copy of Mass Effect 2 via the bar code on the back through the website for this account, but each time I put it in, it tells me that it is not valid for the game...

Anyway, judging by the example bar code picture next to the little area you type in, it has a lone number on the far left, and another on the far right. My code is strange compared to that though, the left has a lone number, though on the right instead of number is a > icon.

How do I get my code to work? Is this icon supposed to stand for something? Thanks in advance.

Note: My copy is not pre-owned, but I've owned it for several months, just haven't tried to tie it to my account until now. It's labeled as an Xbox 360 classic if that helps at all.

Hm...didn't realize that ME2 had a classics edition; really out of the loop of late.

Typically registration requires all digits including the little ones when previous threads of this nature popped up. Try inputting the left one if you haven't tried already.

Pre-owned or not, it shouldn't make a difference if it's the original UPC/bar code.
