GAME are on the verge of bankruptcy and have been for months, their difficulties obtaining credit has been widely reported. This fiasco just accelerates the whole matter for them, they'll probably stumble along for while longer before they take the inevitable plunge into bankruptcy.
But let's put the blame where it clearly lies: on the shoulders of EA and Bioware for their obnoxious policy of placing exclusive distribution deals per-country just to try to eek out a bit of extra profit. Their distribution deals and exclusives and whatnot are not slightly in the interest of their customers. EA and Bioware don't give a crap if my 5 month old pre-order gets lost and someone else picks up my allocation at Play or Shopto because they've still got their money.
Message to EA and Bioware: stop trying to squeeze your suppliers for a tiny bit more money and remember who your actual customers are, the ones buying your stuff.

Got the call from my boyfriend a little earlier saying our CE preorders been cancelled. Been hearing rumours about this from other people for a few days now. I disliked Game before as they are undeniable, I'll now never use them again.
