Game CE stopped a three weeks ago because they ran out of stock.  Some people orders at this point were cancelled and there was a thread about it here.

This is possibly when your order was cancelled.  But it shouldnt have been because it should have only been people close to the cut off and not those all the way back in July!


However it then started again two weeks ago when they got a larger stock allocation.  

Dont let these guys give you a rubbish excuse.  They shouldnt have cancelled your order.  Demand to know why it was cancelled and any excuse they give you can fight back.   You know people here ordered a week ago no trouble.  Get a responce!  

F***. Now you've got me worried. I'll phone them on Monday and settle the matter.

I know they have stock of PS3 and PC but not on X360, or that's what the store manager told me today.

Yes all three appear on their website. I have since tried to pre-ordered twice again (X360) and everything went fine and I received the typical email confirming my pre-order.

Then, after a few hours I get a second email telling me my pre-order has been cancelled. Giving no explanation.

In GAME's physical stores they told me this morning (4th February) they had run out of the X360 version. They still had PS3 and PC versions to pre-order; but I am only interested on the X360 version.

That's very annoying. I think you should go on Monday and ask if there wil be anymore coming in or if the problem can be fixed.

I pre-ordered it 12 minutes after It was annouced at game, my pre-order seems fine, no cancellation.
Maybe something is wrong specifcly with july?

That confirmation email has a 'Track Your Order' link in it, click it, type your Order Number and Last Name in and it'll show you the status of your order. No Game account necessary.

Following the tracking order link just takes me to the GAME homepage. It might be cause I'm using an ipad - will try from my pc.

And that's just one of the reasons why I don't preorder anything from GAME anymore.

Very unfortunate, though not unheard of tale OP. I feel for you, but I doubt their incoherent customer support service will even acknowledge what happened, let alone compensate you or allow you to reorder. So my advice - don't waste your time on them.
At least there's always Amazon with regular edition and Origin with digital CE.

Hmm, apparently both my order number and my last name are wrong.

Edit - works fine if I use IE (shudders) as for some reason it wouldn't work in Chrome. How odd.

Well it looks like i dont have an account with GAME. They have no record of my email address when I follow the forgotten password link. Hopefully this doesn't mean my order has warpbombed! I've had an email from GAME to say that they are being swamped with enquiries at the moment and will get back at some point. I'm getting a sinking feeling......

@OP: Good Luck getting an answer from them, i'm trying to contact them for over a month.

I've pre-ordered the CE at GAME.co.uk in June. The preorder luckily still stands, but after they overhauled their online-store in August 2011 it was completely messed up. The delivery address was changed to my old address, the order number changed and the shipment option states "free uk delivery" (it can't be changed) although i live in mainland europe.

Contacted them trice in the last months and again two days ago to ask if this will cause any issue with the fulfillment of my order. Still waiting for an answer.

Cancelled my Signature Edition with no reason, leaving me scrambling to find a copy with only a few days to release (thankfully, my local Gamestation had spares) I spent 3 days getting in touch with them, on the phone and via email, to try and figure out wtf happened to my order. Their answer? 'We don't know'

I decided this year, for ME3, I would preorder the CE instore rather than online, putting my £5 deposit down on it. I feel for you OP, I really do. I would suggest trying Gamestation if you can, hopefully they'll be able to help.

I remember this. There was a few incidents of GAME cancelling people's SE's with no explanation. Infact there was an entire thread about all the problems UK customers were having with the SE and pre-order bonus'. It mostly worked itself out in the end but those weeks leading up to release were tense.

OP I'd be on the phone to customer support today demanding answers and refusing to accept them saying they will get back to me. By the time Monday comes they could be telling you to try pre-ordering again but have sold out completely. Best of luck anyway, it's a sh*t situation.

Gamestop only have the CE in the Republic of Ireland. I'm not sure if they even have UK stores now but their UK website doesn't have the CE. They closed down all the stores in Northern Ireland last week (taking my pre-order with them, they had CE's in NI through a loophole) and there was only 4 or 5 stores in the rest of the UK.

 I'm pretty sure that you can turn this around Shadowbanner. Pre-ordering that early and beeing able to prove it.. I wouldn't worry about it to much.

If money is no issue bol.com a Dutch retailer also ships to the UK i think. They still allow you to pre-order. *click*

To be fair I think every retailer messed up with DA2 SE. I think there was a lot of miscommunication. My order was with play.com and was cancelled about a week before release and I had it preordered for 8 months.  I ended up having to write an email to the CEO to get it sorted!!!  

Anyway point being we not seeing the influx where 100+ post threads were popping up daily about play/amazon/game/gamestop ect have cancelled orders.  This seems kind of isolated so far.  So hopefully that will work in ShadowBanners favour and they can work something out.
