This has me soooo paranoid!! I have to keep checking my account every day to make sure it's not cancelled. Thinking of preordering in store (live in a small town so they should still have stock) and cancelling my website one.

Joining the club here... I pre-ordered the CE back in June on the Game.co.uk website, and just received a "Your order has been cancelled" email. I don't know if it's because I amended my shipping address (it had disappeared, no idea why), but this. really. sucks. I pre-ordered again instead of using their contact form because they take forever to answer, I just hope they won't cancel it. Again. :/

(at least I still have my Gamestop order... here's hoping the game is region-free)

I spoke to GAME on the phone today to check my order from last July. Fortunately it still seems to be ok though the order number system has been changed since their site has been overhauled. I was given a new order number but it still causes problems when I try and track it. The company line is that they don't cancel preorders unless their is a problem with credit checks on the account but I wouldn't be surprised if some orders were "misplaced" when the site was redone. Hope everyone else having problems gets them resolved asap.

I'm so worried now. They have had so many problems since they re-did their site. Have no idea how they could have messed up.

Just only now got my billing address sorted with them, kept syaing it was invalid even though it's the same one I've used for over 2 years, had to remove my card and stuff ARGH.

So sorry for people who have had their orders cancelled . I would call them up.

EDIT: Seems that the collectors edition is back online.

Mine says unshipped as well, it just means it's not ready to be mailed out yet as they don't have the stock yet.

Correct. When it's time for release, your order will change from Unshipped to Processing, and then from Processing to Shipped. 

OP: I feel for you. GAME has pulled this stunt before. If you use Facebook, make some noise on their official page.

Hey. I saw this topic and since I also have my CE preorderd with GAME it got me worried so I decided to send them an email to ask them if my order was safe and that it would be with me on release day. This is the response I received:

Hi,

Thank you for your email.I wish to confirm that we have removed this item from our website as we have fulfilled our allocation. Please be assured that this has not effected the status of your preorder. We would only cancel orders if they fail security checks, are overseas orders over 1kg or fail bank authorisation.I hope that this is of some reassurance but, if you have any further queries please don't hesitate to contact us.

They've lost/cancelled so many peoples pre-orders , their able to once again offer the 360 CE I guess.If Game cancelled your order , you should make them issue you a new pre-order.

I just checked and you can order it and they will ship it to the UK. They give the option of UK-Royal Mail for €2 or €8.50 for UK express. If you order with Royal Mail it will cost you £68 but don't expect it to arrive on launch day.

Just checked my order and all seems ok.

Seems a bit strange they would let the number of pre-orders go above the amount of units they can ship. Sounds more like a screw up somewhere.

They cancelled preoreders from people not in the UK, so glad I cancelled my preorder with GAME UK in November last year and preordered from GAME here in oz.

Today I also got a pre-order cancellation email from GameStation (same parent company) for the PS3 version I ordered on Sunday. They still have PS3 and PC versions in stock (360 isn't listed as available any more), so I called them to see what was going on, as I had another pre-order (PC) from January that was fine. I thought maybe they'd run out of copies but hadn't updated the site yet...

As it turned out, it was because I'd put the payment method as PayPal on the second order. Both Game and GameStation do a 'test' debit/credit of £1 to ensure it's a valid card/account, and for some reason this test payment was rejected by PayPal, so the order was cancelled.

So, if anyone else has ordered using PayPal, you might want to check it's all fine ... but if you didn't receive a cancellation within 48 hours it should be fine. I've pre-ordered a copy with my card instead and fingers crossed, it should be ok now.

Well, I contacted their customer services and was told that my order was cancelled because it had failed some security checks. I don't understand why, my credit card works just fine, and my shipping/billing addresses were correct. I'm awaiting further information, but I'm thinking that despite what they're saying the problem comes from their side, not ours.

And now the N7 edition for the 360 is unavailable again. Sigh.

Is this just a GAME problem? I really feel for the UK folks and if this is happening over Origin, Gamestop, etc then we have a serious problem. I'm double checking all my pre orders right now......

Well, I went to GAME today. They said if you ordered in store and put down your £5 deposit, you should be absolutely fine.
