Gamestop has a similar policy that is like Game's.But they test your card 15 days before the game release date and not months before which to me is a bit ridiculous.

I know in the US in says there's no CE's left for 360 on Amazon. Do you have that site over there? I've never had a problem with them.

Not everyone can get to Game in person, doesnt seem fair that people who havent paid a deposit may not get their copy.

I preordered back in February '11. Pre-order's still fine and dandy. Maybe you got the "temporal short straw", OP?
Either way, that's gotta hurt, and you have my condolences.

Hugely frustrating as GAME UK is the only retailer in the whole UK whose selling the Collector's Edition. I have written to them and I'm awaiting a reply. I went this morning to a GAME shop in Edinburgh and they said they had reached their "pre-order allocation" and could not help me. I could no longer buy the bloody game.

I'm devastated. Regular client of GAME UK since 2006.

Harsh, very harsh. I think the basic problem is that GAME have never been good at this type of thing - I used to work for them, pre-orders for games that were in any kind of demand were always cocked up.

I'm just glad my pre-order is still up and running.

Wow...I always preorder from the same store, granted it's not in the UK but I never have to leave a deposit to ensure my order. Guess my tactic of "avoid big departmentstores" is a wise policy.

If this "GAME UK" is the only place wich sell the CE in the UK and they don't have any more then maybe you should try ordering from a site in another EU country that ships to the UK? There's bound to be one you can order from, might have to pay a bit more but still...

I could ALMOST see it if you ordered it, say, a month ago, but 6 months!?!

Sorry to hear this, I hope the OP gets this situation fixed.

When I noticed a few threads popping up about Game cancelling pre-orders, I got alittle worried. I pre-ordered back in June myself, over the counter at my nearest store. I went to the same store this week to ask about my pre-order and was told I have no guarantee of getting the collectors edition as "The system has changed" since I pre-ordered.

I then took an immediate trip to another Game store nearby where I spoke with a member of staff I've recognised from around ten years of being a customer there. He informed me that if I was given a receipt/Pre-order Issue that there is absolutely no way I can be refused the game, even if I didn't have to pay a deposit when I reserved(which I wasn't asked to do when I -did- pre-order.)

Just wanted to share this clarification in case someone is in the same boat, don't worry!

I seem to have a knack for getting ill-experienced or ignorant staff members at my nearest Game recently and as soon as I pick up ME3 from them I'll be avoiding ever shopping there again.

Simple solution if the folks at Game UK have any sense. Contact EA, get them to issue an ME3-N7 code to their pre-order customers, allowing all access to the CE's content.

If you want a refund most game stores will do it.  They'll grumble about it and certainly try to get you shift the deposit to some other game, but they'll grant you a refund. 

The thing is they're not supposed to take deposits on pre-orders unless they can guarantee them.

 Here's hoping you can locate another copy somewhere , this makes me think that they were selling cancelled pre-order CE's.What did GAME do , indoctrinate the creditors to keep their stores open while pulling this kind of crap on Loyal Customers:(.(Feel you Guys/Girls pain over there:crying:)

They shouldn't have ever been allowed to take over Gamestation imo.... all of this was inevitable. Gamestation has closed in Eastbourne so that Game could take their cheaper rent premises, it's happening elsewhere too... so now we have Game (who are in trouble) and............... Blockbuster... that's it. And Blockbuster NEVER have CE's.... <_<

@Jenova The Game did that in Chichester (where by bf lives) shut down gamestation and opened a Game, with half the stock and hardly any pre-owned.

I'm lucky I still have both in my home town but I also have CEX but that's all second-hand. HMV is rip off. Blockbuster looks like a shop from Fallout.

I fear Game are shooting themselves in the foot tbh.

It's a shame that EA can't get involved and help the people who's orders got cancelled since it's pretty unfair for the UK's only shop who does the N7 version decides to start screwing people over.

Thanks to the guys who posted that the CE was available again: I ordered a new copy. Hopefully this one won't get cancelled as well!

Thankfully my GAME CE pre-order is still there, but I've now taken to checking my e-mails constantly to see if they've cancelled it.

It's not unusual for this to happen when there's such high demand and they realise they can't meet them, but it's pretty alarming that it's happening to people who ordered it so long ago. It's like they're picking them at random =/

There really should be some way to properly complain about this kind of stuff going on - notifying people this close to release and now the CE is nigh-impossible to get is just plain wrong.

I just checked and you can order it and they will ship it to the UK. They give the option of UK-Royal Mail for €2 or €8.50 for UK express. If you order with Royal Mail it will cost you £68 but don't expect it to arrive on launch day.

As stated above Gamestop.ie have it (This is where I ordered mine, but I do live in Ireland) There dosent appear to be an issue with UK delivery

Quick question, why didn't you guys just pay for it at the time of order? I always do that as your guarenteed they'll dig out a copy rather then have to refund you
