I'm very happy the multiplayer achievements can be gained through alternate single player ways.

But I have to say, Long Service Medal is disappointing... :/
I'd have hoped for it to be 3 times (from ME1 to ME3, or some other combination). 2 times is a bit weak tbh.

The PS3 players would be up in arms if that was the case.

But they could play ME2 twice and ME3 once, or the other way round, or ME3 3 times. Everyone wins.

before i read them, can someone please tell me if it is really that spoilerific?
i have seen all the trailers, and gameplay video's. (Sur'Kesh, Earth and GTTV)
thank you

No, they do not spoil major locations, conflicts.  The most major was outrunning a Reaper in the Galaxy map.

YOU should READ them! =D *Possible Spoilers* my favs are:
1 Pathfinder 15
Explore a lost city.
2.Party Crasher 15
Sabotage a dreadnought.
3.Arbiter 25
Win a political stand-off.
4.Last Witness 25
Extract ancient technology.
5.Well Connected 15
Send a warning across the galaxy.
6.Fact Finder 15
Discover an enemy's monstrous origin.
7.Master and Commander 50
Deliver most of the Galaxy at War assets to the final conflict.
8.Untouchable 10
Escape a Reaper in the galaxy map.

If I had to choose top 3 then:

Some sound pretty interesting. But honestly they are so non-specific I really don't think they are much in the way of spoilers.

No "Don't Fear the Reaper"? Oh, man!

And please, Bioware, please, as long as we don't pull a Halo I'll be okay with the "Fact Finder" achievement.

The scope of this game is mind boggling. I'm not talking about Skyrim style endless wilderness but rather the scale of the story they want to tell. It's more War and less "Lol! Recruit teh best and den OMEGA 4 RELAYZ!"

The 'Executioner' achievement must be someone from ME1. Remember that line on of the devs posted saying someone from ME1 said that?

Edit: Also wondering who this 'Veteran Officer' is.

I'm guessing the "Veteran Officer" is Ashley/Kaidan

Or Anderson, but the vids with the brief skins of him in Combat Armor is confusing.  My guess is it is the VS.

Not sure who the Executioner achievement is for, could be a number of people from ME 1 or 2.

It could be Admiral Hackett.

I don't think it would make sense for the achievement to be referring to Anderson, as far as I know you don't "bring him aboard." I'm just going off that Earth preview where you leave him to lead the resistance or whatever though, so I could be wrong.

The Veteran Officer is most likely Garrus.

I doubt the VS is the Veteran Officer since they're the very first squadmate you get, along with Vega.

Unlikely, what if Garrus is dead?

Possibly, but Officer would imply Military Rank.  In six months its highly unlikely that Garrus went back to Turian Space to re-join the Turian military, or impossible to think he'd rejoin C-sec.

Also, it would be unlogical to make achievements for Garrus, and leave out Liarra and Tali.  He is also a confirmable KIA for the ME 2 Suicide mission, another reason why they wouldn't make him that.

Nice. I wonder if the "do X to a Y amount of enemies" achievements are obtainable in Multiplayer.

I really like the fact that there are different ways to MP achievements involving the N7 missions. Or rather, there are different ways to the N7 achievements via MP.

Granted, I'm going to play MP but at least it provides SP only people who get all achievements necessary.

I really wonder exactly what the...

Untouchabl 10G
Escape a Reaper in the galaxy map.

What does that mean? Will they actually be actively chasing you? That's awesome!

I think it's great for those without Xbox Live Gold or a good internet connection, since there is no offline co-op (that's a hint, BioWare!).

There really should be an achievment for having a save that starts with ME1.

All multiplayer achievements can also be achieved via singleplayer alone, so everyone should be happy.

Good point. I went with Garrus in that it seems unlikely that you'd get an achievement for recruiting a squad member you get by default (the VS and James), and that the achievements are laid out in such a way that you can reconstruct the plot of the game ("Driven" for beating Earth, "Bringer of War" for Mars, etc.) and that you recruit Garrus on Palaven.

However, you make a good point with there being a lack of achievements for Tali. Liara is a possibility, but she's not really an officer. Might just be the Achievement for (POSSIBLE SPOILERS, NOT REALLY SURE) bringing the VS back on board the Normandy after being injured at the end of the Mars level. (END SPOILERS).

Thank you Bioware for not making any multiplayer only achievements. :)

I don't really see any spoilers here, so I don't know why some people are paranoid.

It's mostly on page 4, and it's nothing that reveals the plot point completely, but it reveals the location of the political stand-off.
