 I would delete my older question but i'm not sure how. 

Anyway, my question is this:  If I play legacy before the final battle in Kirkwall, does it get mentioned atall ?  Like when Bethany appears back from the Grey Wardens doe sshe mention anything about Legacy ?
i ask thsi because i'm not sure if I will play it on my post campaign save or just before the final fight.

As I recall, there is no difference between these two.

I'm pretty sure dialogue from the core game remains the same - it's not influenced by the DLC, though banter in the DLC is influenced by the core game (romance choices, etc).

As far as deleting an old thread that you started, you could edit the post and the title and request that the mods lock it.
