Why don't you wait until the game comes out?
I'm sure we'll find out.

yeah totally this for sure.

im sure jacks new found love of teaching could be written in a way that maybe jack is not really a woman,  shes a man, whose actually a horse, who is actually a broom.

i mean bioware made a superb begining to ME2 by killing off shepard. its brain power like that thats capable of making jack a teacher. if anyone can do it, bioware can.

This supposed well guarded school for biotics was recently just infiltrated by a biotic machine, an assassin, an ex-employee, and an alliance soldier.

Something tells me they wanted a teacher who would make breaking into the school legally count as a suicide note.

Indeed.

That and I'd have to agree that I don't think Jack was insane--just violent and jaded (lol "just").  After seeing Pragia for herself, encountering Aresh, realizing she wasn't the only one who went through that hell, maybe she wanted to make sure that no other kid became what Cerberus twisted her into.  Maybe in her efforts to protect other biotic kids and weed out Cerberus, she crossed paths with the Alliance and got a job offer.

And, hey, maybe kids are Jack's weakness.

Besides, if you read the script, you'll notice that Jack is still very much Jack.  Just... finally grown the hell up and taking some responsibility, living for something other than herself.  It's a very sudden transformation, one that should have taken years, but it's a transformation I hoped I'd get to see, and I'll maintain my suspension of disbelief because, hey, it's not like we get to hold out for a Mass Effect 4 to see Jack's character finally mature into something awesome.

Not that she wasn't awesome to begin with.

Very likely if you went renegade on her, but I suspect with a paragon, Jack would remember how much she suffered and would not want that for the kids.

Agreed. She was never a psychopath. Psychopaths/sociopaths have absolutely no consience. Jack was just a mentally disturbed woman for going what she went through. She eventually breaks through during the romance scene - which to me means she never was psychotic/sociopathic.

According to a foto of the upcoming artbook Jack has become a teacher at the Grissom Academy.

What? How did that happen?
ME3 plays only months after ME2, so how did the psychotic Jack suddenly become a teacher?
First, no one with a sane mind would want a psycho like Jack anywhere near his children, let alone teach them something. And why would anyone employ a convicted mass murderer who broke out of a superprison to join a terroristic organization (thats from the view point of earth government)? I consider Jack beeing free and not hunted already a miracle, but as teacher for little children?

Sure, Jack is a powerful biotic, especially for a human, but that has more to do with her genetic modifications than with her skill which she would be able to pass on.

Apparently they have one hell of a union. Image IPB

Meh, they probably figured the best way to simultaneously keep a handle on a bunch of young biotics and protect them from outside threats (like Cerberus) is to use another powerful biotic.

I'm just glad the fist line in the art book isn't "We needed more sexy."

I suppose ME2 is also a little bit about all of your squad mates characters growing somewhat.

I am a bit biased because I am a huge Jack fan, but to me, surviving the suicide mission, using her as the Biotic for the barrier, the little nod she gives you at the end of it - its a whole development of her character becoming more than the life she has lived.
Not to mention by this stage, living and seeing all the horror she and those kids were put through at the Cerberus facility, she probably feels like she can do more to help kids with Biotic powers and wants to make a difference.

Edit: But yeah - the timeline if ME3 takes place a few months after ME2 seems a bit silly. I think maybe they should have run the timeline as a year or more between ME2 and ME3 - would at least have made things make a bit more sense.

Then you should look at the Ashley entry (found it somewhere on a Amazon preview).
Thats pretty much exactly that ("We wanted to make Ashley more sexy")

I had Jack kill Aresh because I was afraid he actually would start doing Pragia experiments. Does that mean I encouraged her to be evil? My intentions were noble.

I thought it was going to be, "How did Jack transform into TankGirl?"

Still I don't think she's as psychotic as some paint her out to be, after all she wanted to blow up an empty building not get revenge on the people at the facility, getting over trauma is hard and rarely presents a "right" way, all it all it seemed almost healthy.

Beyond that she's the most powerful human Biotic, not only imbued with the power and volitile but she can actually control it really well, parts of the scene where she breaks out where almost like a graceful dance. Human Biotic like her are few and far between leaving demand for teachers greater then the supply and her hang ups and past are pushed aside for it. You think they'd reject having Kaidan as a teacher to Biotics in general with his past of killing someone?

I need to check what the Grissoms school actually is for, either way whether it's handling special cases and the traumatized or Nuturing unique gifts that they can't control properly (Xmen school) she has something to offer both, the only issue being the tiny time gap, I doubt theres public knowlegde of what happened with the collectors, yeah the abductions have stopped but no evidence to say it's them and no return of the already abducted, cerberus' word and a team working with them probally isn't worth much so that can't account for a fast tracking into the school.

Don't think so.

The important thing about that is she states she does not want anyone to do these kind of experiments again - so however you deal with it - I guess its kind of like a little switch that makes her want to stop it from happening to other people.

It's not that big of a leap. After all, they're letting Kahlee work there and she's the dumbest blond character in the Mass Effect franchise.

Conrad Verner.

No. Conrad is an elite operative capable taking the Reapers down on his own.

Yes, but an incredibly dumb elite operative.

may be its conrad cover to play stupid  fan off sheperd but i realty conrad its top trained elite under cover agent like james bond for more secret  organsation than cuberus
