Shepard must have pulled a lot of strings to not get her arrested. Maybe the role of a teacher is just a secret identity some people have given Jack to protect her from prosecution?

Easy, she lied to them. She wants to ammend......or kill children, but Bioware wouldn't do that.
You haven't seen the 1st mission of ME3, have you?

Maybe its just a cover! If your a paragon and swayed Jack to that side then she might try to be on the straight and narrow. So with Shepard in jail and not there to protect her then she had to hide somewhere from Cerberus. But lets say you were a renegade? She might be on Omega instead of the grissom academy. Just a thought.
ROTFL!!
Seriously?? Jack on the straight and narrow?

And her students are in their late teens. They're not kids.

What? How did that happen?
ME3 plays only months after ME2
It takes place six months after Arrival, which takes place six months after ME2. Other than that I agree, it's a little weird that she's a teacher.

Shepard: How in the hell did you end up teaching people?
Jack: Well, I had some free time while you were off playing hero. Alliance brass knew I helped you. They offered me this, and apparently the students responded well to my teaching style.

What I find more strange than Jack wanting to be a teacher is that Earth is letting her become a teacher. After all she is still a criminal with a quite violent and murderous past who, as far as Earth knows, broke out of a prison to join a terrorist organization (they are not privy to what happened behind the scenes between her and Cerberus).
Shepard must have pulled a lot of strings to not get her arrested. Maybe the role of a teacher is just a secret identity some people have given Jack to protect her from prosecution?
She's spent pretty much her entire life in the Terminus Systems and other places - it's likely that the Alliance has very few records concerning her.

The snowcones are full of potassium benzoate.

It's not that big of a leap. After all, they're letting Kahlee work there and she's the dumbest blond character in the Mass Effect franchise.
i haven't read any of the novels or comics (i don't care for them) but i thought she was regarded as a genius?

What? How did that happen?
ME3 plays only months after ME2, so how did the psychotic Jack suddenly become a teacher?
First, no one with a sane mind would want a psycho like Jack anywhere near his children, let alone teach them something. And why would anyone employ a convicted mass murderer who broke out of a superprison to join a terroristic organization (thats from the view point of earth government)? I consider Jack beeing free and not hunted already a miracle, but as teacher for little children?
Sure, Jack is a powerful biotic, especially for a human, but that has more to do with her genetic modifications than with her skill which she would be able to pass on.
Maybe someone at Bioware loved Bad Teacher really really really much.

Why not? Because of ME2's gameplay restrictions?

She's more a shotgun, assault rifle, M-920 Cain girl.
