You know, I'm beginning to feel really disappointed. I like Bioware games because of their story and customization, and that means the relationships we can procure with the characters. We can like, dislike, agree and don't agree with them, that's always make me feel like I'm in control. But to be honest, since LOTSB, Liara is starting to become forced on me. Not enough that to keep her in the plot, she has to take the SB resources, now I'm almost forced to be her friend.
The VS, I know we can still tell to get off the ship and even kill him/her in ME3, but Liara will remain there, unkillable.
The same old argument that a lot of people like to put: we're trolling, we're haters and everything. What does it matter to you the way I want to play my game? I'm not asking the devs to remove friendship or romance with these characters. I'm asking them to give us the choice to more freedom with the relationships of Shepard, that's all.
I really hope the game will end up being different than what we are hearing out there. Because if I'm forced friends with anyone, not just Liara, I will end up killing Shepard in ME2 and be done with this series for good.
I'm waiting the release to see if it really have our RPG back to buy it.
I know there's a lot of people in these forums that have these concerns as well.
