Casey Hudson said that NO ONE is permanent, because it's a "War" Story. That would mean characters like the VS and Liara shouldn't be on the Normandy for the entire game. That would mean he's lying if they stay.

Only Liara is going to stay on the Normandy perminantly for the entire game. Liara is also the only character in ME3 with plot armor

Face it, Liara is just more important than the entire ME2 cast. The entire ME2 cast is expendable. Liara isn't.

+1

She is my LI since ME/ME2 on my default maleshep aswell!

Love Liara, best female character in all ME games in my book!

I agree somewhat with the OP, but only in so far as the characters we go through the LI with should fit some sort of role as a permanent squadmate. I'll be pretty disappointed if anyone who didn't pick the VS, Liara, Garrus, or Tali will be screwed out of seeing much of their LI in ME 3. I know they said there will be some sort of conclusion with that, but I feel it's deserving of making 1 slot in the squad open to whoever we'd want there. That way, it's not making all the characters have a slot, but at least one that we cared about. I liked the ME 1 characters, but honestly I'd take some of the ME 2 characters any day over Ashley/Kaiden, but that's just me. Not everyone feels that way hence why I think making 1 slot saved for the ME 2 LI would be good.

Miranda gets more dialog in Mass Effect 3 then she did in Mass Effect 2.

Miranda probably gets the best treatment out of almost all the Mass Effect 2 characters, actually. An entire mission. Citadel conversations. The works.

Miranda is not important in this war. If anything, she most likely is a traitor and the enemy in ME3. She is a Cerberus b*tch after all and Cerberus is the enemy in ME3.

So, yeah, OP, your LI is probably going to be an enemy in ME3. I hope you look forward to put a bullet between her eyes. Yes, love hurts, I'd say:

i love how the OP is trying to make out they give a damn about the roles of other characters when all they really care about is miranda getting a bigger role in ME3

Yeah Luis is like that. I'd like for everybody from ME2 get some respectable facetime, but it isn't happening. And it really should.

Shoulda, coulda, woulda BioWare. ME2 has gone down as the filler episode where they fixed their gameplay problems.

sure.....al jalani should totally have the same level of importance and attention as, say, Tali Garrus or Liara or Ash/Alenko

I'd be all for that if it meant we got to punch her that often.

Fair enough, but still ''Punch her in-the-face'' should always be the first thing you do to her.

It is a bit bullsh**y that ME1 charcters seem way more important than ME2 characters. Where's the justice in that? not a SINGLE ME2 character is a squaddie? Really Bioware? I think that's just plain dumb on Biowares part.

Yeah. It's another SR1 again....unwillingly. Why couldn't we be given the opportunity to say "F*ck Off!" to the Alliance and fight on our own. By the end of ME2, we were Neither Cerberus, nor Alliance, depending on the choices.

I played ME2 first, so I cherish the ME2 Characters More. I'm used to thinking Garrus as an ME2 character as well, in a way.

What about players who don't want to play ME1?

Oh, there is a character first introduced in ME2 who will be in the squad in ME3.

"feelings"? Look sister, I feel for you, I really do, but this is the LAST place you wanna express an opinion or share your feelings. Try brightening the Miri fan thread back up, cause that's the only place you're not gonna be attacked for this opinion.
