Whatver Cthulhu, not feeling sharp enough to back and forth right.

Yeah, sorry. I was just nitpicking; I got your point. I don't agree with it, but I understand.

3 games, 2 sidekicks. And what Seboist said. Same can be applied to Tali except replace "sidekick" with "little sister action-girl".

Kill them in ME2 and it's "problem solved".

Your avatar is Gex right? Grew up playing those games. God I miss the 90's.

Hell yeah! I think I'm gonna change it to Vectorman next

Garrus and Tali will be forever looked at as the characters who stole 2 spots on the Mass Effect 3 roster.

I won't be recruiting either. Not because I don't like them, but because BioWare is trying too hard to make me.

I disagree.

Garrus was always a permanent member, it was Tali who was later added. And they didn't steal spots. It wasn't like Bioware said "we're putting in Grunt. Wait n/m it's Tali instead." the ME2 cast was never meant to be in ME3 that way.

Personally I'm fine with not having the ME2 cast. They were for the Suicide Mission and that's over. I do understand that people are attatched to those characters and want them back. I understand them being upset. But there was no "spot stealing."

Also, don't know if Garrus and Tali are recruitable. I get the impression that they are with you automatically. And they're not forced on you. If you don't like them, kill them in ME2 or don't use them in ME3. They're back because they are the most popular. And I for one would have been upset if I didn't have Garrus again after 2 games with him.

The majority of ME fans most certainly do have Miranda - willingly or not - given that she's the single hardest
squadmate to kill in the ME2 ending and you pretty much have to actively try to achieve it.

She is not hard to kill. It's just there's only one way to do it. Either don't do her LM ordo it but side with Jack and never make up with her. Take her into the final battle. That's it. it's not hard.

Don't know what the majority of players have for squadmates who survived but I would guess that the majority has them all alive to see what happens to them in ME3. I killed Miranda though.

Last I checked the ship has new areas and is apparently just as big.

I hope your Shepard doesn't share this selfish sense of self-entitlement. I imagine poor old Miranda would be mortified by your undignified belly-aching.

Actually she can die "holding the line" as well.

As someone who (clearly) likes the ME2 characters more than the ME1 characters it is a little poor (maybe they could have given at least one ME2 squaddie to the ME3 squad) but the more I think about it, the more i am warming to the ME3 squad. I liked ME1's squad....so I guess I should like ME3 squad.

Apart from Wrex. Why no Wrex!!!! Grrr......

On an @Chobot's character. Don't even get me started. Only in there so IGN will given it a bloody 10/10. Yuck.

On and @EDI.Don't even get me started again! Why!! We could have had Mordin/Thane/Grunt/Miranda?
LEGION!!

But instead we got EDI! EDI!!!!

I don't know about you, but I don't sex up my little sister.

Well, if there's anything I have learnt in my time on BSN, it's that many on here actually would. Make of that what you will.

This thread makes me sad.

Once again, everyone rationalizes their favorite characters into important roles and comes up with excuses to exclude their least favorite ones from it altogether.

I guess I'll soothe myself with the fact that ME3 is almost finished and has handled its plot/participants equation correctly :P

I assume Legion is too buy fighting the Quarians to be a squadmate. Which makes sense in my book. And unexiled Tali however doesn't make sense. But that's probably why they originally didn't include her as a squadmate. I do wonder how her relationship with Shepard will be if you turned in the evidence at her trial. Or if she is exiled and you bring her to get the Quarians how that will play out.

And its another example of how people tak games far far too serious, I think what the OP does not get is that everyone, to some degree is a little bit unhappy about something in ME3. We dont go ' I wanna speak to a dev' we are just happy our favourite characters are in the game, why cant he be? Is it because he thinks shes real and wants to grab 'dat ass?'

It pains me greatly to agree with you ;_;
But while it's too late to change the role of characters in ME3, it's about time to release some information about other characters.

We know nothing solid about squadmates in ME2 only. Not even if they are temporary squadmates or cameos.

good thing Shepard doesn't have to have sex with her then.

Thankfully Shepard can tell Tali to stay off the Normandy so there's one problem solved.

Who won't like The GMag? haha :D

But OT, there are a couple of things that irk me about this.
1. Cerberus been "teh big bad evilz" insted of a morally grey area, yes blah blah blah inb4cerberushaters i know this isnt the place to decuss it here so i wont. And been back with The Alliance as ive grown to somewhat loath them in ME2.
2. That tali is back in the squad again <_<, but that problem i've already sorted out in most of my playthroughs cause tali took one for the team during the SM and took a rocket to the face and when she's alive probably leave her on the Normandy during ME3

But MEFan you need to chill bro, be like GMag and have some bluntz tbh, im sure you can wait just a tad longer to see what Miranda's role is. B)

The only ****ed up part about this all is that people who are sitting on their high horse seem to be forgetting it's the LAST... LAST game in the trilogy. If there were a sequel and the devs said don't worry Miranda, Mordin, Legion, ect will be back in action in the next game then at the suggestion of the more uncouth people on the forums I would simply "deal with it". Fact is THEY WON'T BE BACK BECAUSE IT'S THE LAST DAMN GAME.

I tolerate him, like I do with most of you. Personally, I don't really care for his whole act anymore, as i've seen it by now.

The reason for the "if only" would be him replacing Ms. Zorah, something I would welcome with great joy. Then again, I'd gladly trade her for a brick as well.
