oh dear god. She's running UP a ramp. Every Ass on human being moves when they walk, when the ass moves, the clothes around it move. Did you notice the picture goes 50X zoom to show you that OP? did you notice that? No, you spent however long it took you to see that and post it here to **** about something that's on screen for 1-2 seconds and is moving away. The Camera does not follow Ashley's ass, it zooms in on shepard who is about to watch a shuttle with that little boy on it get blown up. The game is about to go gold so you'd think the ****ing about Ashley's outfit would be over but no, let's all complain a little more why don't we?

This.

It's not about that.  It's just Bioware's latest use of the word "sexy".  It's not like Ashley wasn't appealing back in ME1, she's very pretty and can kick your ass, but I guess it's not enough for Bioware, lol.

I found Liara more attractive honestly.

This.  Ash was a no-nonsense soldier like Vega and didn't really have much that made her attractive other than being in shape.  She definitely needed an upgrade, maybe they went too far, but I still think its better than leaving her with the 'bun hair even when not wearing a helmet'.

Thankfully Ash got some blue pants instead of those ridiculous white ones so the asshot will hopefully be not as ridiculously blatant.

Who is this 'ass guy' at BioWare, i mean seriously?

The first person you see with sunglasses is the Ass Man. Though I suspect it's Hudson.

Never visit character threads myself. Echo chambers of circle masturbation they are.

Amen, Brakka.

Vega's masculinity (overmasculiny, some would say, but that's another can of worms) has its appeal, especially because dem muscles.

Exactly. Why would she need an "upgrade"?

They did the same thing with Thane and Jacob. As a male, I didnt have a problem with thier outfits.

Thane and jacob were new characters, who's looks were designed around the roles they play. Thane is an assassin who works from the shadows, considers any time he has to get into a gunfight a "failure," and to top it all off he has to keep his chest unocvered or it will exasperate his condition.

Jacob was head of security over a bunch of researchers on a cerbeus facility. He wears a simple cerberus uniform. He looks as he should, and although he should have grabbed some actual armor somwhere along the line it at least has some logic behind it.

Ashley's look doesnt follow the design logic established by her characterization. Its a blatant and uneeded change. She armor if it wasn't for all the outcry about her appearance.

I don't mind Vega's look because he looks like somebody who'd make a good marine.

Ashley did too, but now she's too pretty. She's as bad as some of those horrible femsheps that are slathered in makeup.

Because she wasn't appealing enough to a mass of people and didn't show a more civilian, more relaxed side.

Oh no, a woman's bottom. My gods, someone might think of sex because of that and immediately get aids! Oh the shame for us all.

I could so not give less of a toss about this. Frankly No amount of making Ashley's body look more attractive is going to counterbalance how ugly I find her face, so it bothers me not.

Besides, whether it sets off you're inner prude or not, this is a vastly better and more distinctive design than her previous generic female casual outfit or white and pink girly armour.

I do as well, but that wasn't my point. Ashley still had a great character design, so I really don't get where all these decisions came from. It's not like she wasn't appealing to a fan base, she has a huge fan base, looks do play a part, but personality definitely outweighs it IMO. Again though, my only reason for raging is their definition for wanting to change a certain design; "sexy".

Yeah, revised outfit is much better. Also, armor on missions.

Something interesting that bugs me though, They spent all this time on Ash's 'casual' outfit. It has weapon slots. I think BioWare originally intended for her to have that as her armor, then saw the backlash and quickly threw in the retexed Femshep armor.

This is most definitely true, even if BW doesn't say so.

Agreed with OP. This is ridiculous. Just like the gratuitous ass shot of Miranda during a conversation.

Have some class Bioware. Your games are good enough that they don't need to stoop to this level to be good or keep fans. This is shameful.

I agree with OP, as a man I feel insulted when any company uses these cheap tricks for sell me a product. When I buy Mass Effect I expect a great story with a fun gameplay, not some ass and cleavage, the internet is already full of that.

Why does every LI have to fall under what the majority considers attractive? Many people liked Ashley the way she was.

Why are you attracted to blue pixels?

She really has been Mirandified. There is simply no other explanation for these ruthlessly oversexualized pictures. lol.

Because people forget this is a business and that BioWare wants to appeal to a mass of people (Teenagers) instead of a few.

Ash was the most romanced character in ME1, so "the mass" at least found her more appealing than Liara. And it could be me (since I played a female Shep), but her "civilian, relaxed" side was displayed pretty satisfactorily. She IS a no-nonsense soldier, after all (and they are on an extended mission), so it was appropriate. Not exactly expecting her to come up to the captain's quarters for a toenail painting.

I definitely lol'd right there.. reminds me of the girls in high school looking for attention.

Whether you romanced ashley or not it seems like she has feelings for shep and was like "OMG sis, I dont know how to get his attention what should I do"

"Let him see a free sample of dem goodiez!"

"What?!"

"You know get a really short skirt and push those puppies up.. idk maybe die your hair and wear it down"

"Are you sure it's going to work"

"Is he a guy? It'll work"

lol
