Bioware, why are you doing this to Ashley?

@redBadger14 Shot 1 was during the romance scene (where to me at least it's perfectly acceptable to have gratuitous shots)

Shot 2 was ****ing horrible and BW should feel ashamed for putting it in. One bad shot doesn't excuse another though.

and yet she could still kick your ass and make you cry for your mother. Probably wouldn't break a nail either since she's a Spectre.

She could and she'd still look like a **** the whole time.

and you'd be the one who got his ass  by this "****" you speak of even though she's anything but. I like how whenever  a woman actually looks pretty she's called a s lut or w hore but a guy looks handsome or he's got a pro wrestlers body and "damn he looks like a great soldier" Ashley's a damn Spectre one of the best soldiers in the galaxy and you disrespect her like she's a piece of garbage because she looks feminine in her casual outfit. you are a disgrace to the male gender.

Oh for crying out loud...

God forbid a woman for having a good looking ass and being shown in split second scene where it isn't the focus of that scene. And god forbid that woman for being in the military and in a casual outfit.

I comprehend the complaining of that IN YOUR FACE shot from Miranda, but...

Oh, nevermind. Being from where I am, I must have a veeeeeeeeeery different view on that kind of subject than most people here. Don't my opinion so much.

@G3rman: Liara wasn't human, granted, and there was little selection. But that's hardly a justification anymore when, as of ME3, Shep can hump practically everything and everyone in sight.

I still don't agree about Ash being "civilian" enough (how would have you have had her act, out of curiosity?"), but making her more personally amiable is best done by dialogue. Her appearance overhaul gives no indication that this was even the devs intent.

Really? Can you link me to the stats that show this? I'm not doubting you, I'm just surprised.

It was in a list of ME stats (side note: 80% of players customise Shepard, and most play soldier). I'd find it for you, but it was a while back, and there's only so much I can load on mobile phone.

Why does every LI have to fall under what the majority considers attractive? Many people liked Ashley the way she was.

Because people forget this is a business and that BioWare wants to appeal to a mass of people (Teenagers) instead of a few.

But isn't that what Liara, Miranda, Kelly, Snooki Chobot etc are for? The "i want hot gurlz" audience have all their bases covered and then some, there's no reason to annoy the fans who prefer LI's like Jack + Ashley.

No actually because this gives them incentive to go back and buy the first games, either for more hotness (which they will be disappointed) or because they genuinely like the character's personality and looks.

Also I'd like to see all those complaining come up with a new outfit that isn't insulting to women yet would still attract an audience the way the current one does.
