Bioware, why are you doing this to Ashley?

Well, when you bring up that picture, it does look bad.

I, however, choose to wait for the game to show up before I cry foul on any possible gratuitous ass shots.

Oh for crying out loud.

Hnnnnnnnnnngh. I'm going to have a difficult time resisting Virmiring her if this sort of thing turns out to be accurate, and she's one of my favourite characters. And honestly? It wouldn't be out of spite, or frustrating. It would be a mercy killing.

Ash, trust me, a nuke in the face is getting off lightly.

I'm debating nuking her in ME1 and romancing up Jack in ME2.

I worked so hard at pretending to be young and stupid. Thanks guys.

Actually, I just noticed the casual to armor difference. They've only been showing Vega, but the beta's I've seen and the Trailer were either Garrus/Liara, Garrus/Vega.

Kind of late to be complaining about this don't you think? (Considering that particular scene is over half a year old or more) Are there some tasteless things, yes there is. Are there some impratical things, yes there is. However, there are times when people do complain a little too much over something that most probably didn't even notice or will notice to begin with. (How long is that scene liek a few seconds at most?) Does that make it okay, no it doesn't but neither is is getting over excited about something to the point where it causes problems.

Edit: Also like many others have said people should wait till its actually complete/released before they start running around like headless chickens.

I love how casual wear in the future doesn't involve sweat pants and a baggy t-shirt. xD At least Shepard gets a hoodie, now! lol

We need real strippers instead of just dancers, come on BioWare if you are willing to go this far let's see some skin!

I direct you to Chora's Den from ME1.

They didn't strip though and the clothing wasn't all that revealing.  We need frontal nudity! Rant Rant rant. Rabble rabble rablle.

Well I'll give you the lack of stripping, yeah. I found some of the movements rather revealing though. /shrug

I understand you're not being totally serious though, and neither am I. But I just... sometimes I like to bring that place up when people talk about how 'much worse' BioWare has gotten about these sorts of things.

That said, I don't totally disagree with that sentiment anyway. Samara probably wouldn't have dressed the way she did had she been in ME1, for starters. Overall I've actually found ME3's designs much better than ME2's in this particular regard, actually.

Honestly this isn't any better. The white space makes it look like you're getting some kind of an upskirt and it's gross.

Ugh, that looks so tasteless. I hope there won't be lingering arse shots of her like there were of Miranda, but I suppose I should probably wish for Shepard to ride into battle on a griffon while I'm here.

Ooh!  Shepard riding into battle on Odahviing, with Master Chief and Isaac Clark at his side!  And then and then an army of Krogans riding T-rexs being led by Wrex, and Garrus leading an army of pseudo Asari strippers, with his advanced calibration design head gear, which displays more than two colors now!

Then Will Smith will appear for the prize, with Jacob, and then deliver a Jewish tech who found out Reapers are succeptable to Viruses!

Hey, don't spoil the ending of ME3 for me.

But I see no Kaidan in arseless chaps. According to the thread, it shall be a feature.

That's what I had planned to spare Ashley the shame of her ME3 outfit.

Oh, was that the really, really old shot? Bah - didn't even remember seeing this one. If they've already changed it, then this is sort of a moot point. In any case, I'll wait for someone who actually has Ash in their party to post eventually screenshots/video and see the final outfit.

I'm quite sure that her outfit has been recolored, you're like seven months late, buddy.

it has, as x3dsix said on the first page (clearly got lost within everyone else complaining). Just to clarify:

Image IPB

Obviously it's not the best screenshot, but that is her casual outfit from when you run into her on Earth, as shown in the James Vega Featurette. As you can see, it's clearly been recoloured from that original screenshot from months and months ago.

Wow...

I've never complained about stuff like this before; I didn't mind Miranda's outfit nor did I have a problem with Jack's appearance but yeah....

It was hard enough to take her seriously with the new hairstyle but she just doesn't seem like the Ash I knew from the first game when running around in that...

What I wouldn't give for some of BW's own amazing female characters to sit their art department down and give them what for. Ashley Williams deserves better than to be arbitrarily sexed up, especially in such a way that demonstrates how little the ME team trusts its fanbase to embrace women that aren't dudebro eye candy in the narrowest terms possible.

Oh my god you people are so pitiful, talking about killing off a character just because of a wardrobe choice. Unless they have a 'Miranda butt' shot like in ME2 every time you talk to her, I don't see how they are accentuating it at all.

Get over yourselves.

I'd rather she die with dignity in a better game than be flaunted around in the crapfest that is ME3.

I'm thinking its going to be up to the player, as her CE outfit DLC is the same style as the one being shown just different colors.
