Bioware, why are you doing this to Ashley?

Like I said in my post most don't even notice since they are more wrapped up in the game and the scene is pretty brief to begin with. OP if this bugs you then I hate to see your responses to most games out there.KotorEffect3 wrote...

I'm quite sure that her outfit has been recolored, you're like seven months late, buddy.
Obviously it's not the best screenshot, but that is her casual outfit from when you run into her on Earth, as shown in the James Vega Featurette. As you can see, it's clearly been recoloured from that original screenshot from months and months ago.
Fine, that's an improvement, but the complaint about the overall treatment of women in the franchise still stands. The aforementioned "professional female npc in bathing suit top" is new, anyway.

That's what I had planned to spare Ashley the shame of her ME3 outfit.
What I'm not understanding is you already had the sexy human romance option in Miranda, you had the sexy cute 'dem hips' romance option in Tali, you had the sexy alien romance in Liara (whose entire race spend a hundred years as strippers as part of their growing up period).
Ashely was the no-nonsense, straight down the line, woman who can kick your arse romance option - why would you decide to make that character sexy for ME3. I just can't get my head around why and at what point they decided "So Ash eh? We need more sexy." It just doesn't make any sense to me. YOU HAVE ENOUGH SEXY ALREADY!

Ugh, that looks so tasteless. I hope there won't be lingering arse shots of her like there were of Miranda, but I suppose I should probably wish for Shepard to ride into battle on a griffon while I'm here.
Ooh! Shepard riding into battle on Odahviing, with Master Chief and Isaac Clark at his side! And then and then an army of Krogans riding T-rexs being led by Wrex, and Garrus leading an army of pseudo Asari strippers, with his advanced calibration design head gear, which displays more than two colors now!
Then Will Smith will appear for the prize, with Jacob, and then deliver a Jewish tech who found out Reapers are succeptable to Viruses!
Hey, don't spoil the ending of ME3 for me.
But I see no Kaidan in arseless chaps. According to the thread, it shall be a feature.
I want any Krogan that are on board the Normandy to have the feature of being Dinosaurs. I just beat that Jurassic Park game, and now I want a JP Velociraptor squad mate.

Something interesting that bugs me though, They spent all this time on Ash's 'casual' outfit. It has weapon slots. I think BioWare originally intended for her to have that as her armor, then saw the backlash and quickly threw in the retexed Femshep armor.

Unfortunately she still prances around with her hair out, her ****** have been enlarged and she's in an unprofessional latex suit on the grounds of I quote, "We wanted her to be more sexy".
What's amusing is Bioware's mindset when designing Ash in ME1 was along the lines of "We wanted Ash to look normal ... like a woman you'd meet at work"

... It's obvious that you've played both games, how can you say this?
Morrigan vs Samara, Isabella vs Ashley, I'd say DA is behind ME.
Although I guess Isabella was written as a **** and Ashley is being rewritten as such, so that is annoying...

For new ME3 players, they needed a sexed up squad mate. Liara's outfit isn't revealing, so Ash ended up getting the role of 'sexed up' in this game.Icinix wrote...

Honestly? I expect more from Bioware, especially since DA is so much more progressive. Other games generally get an eyeroll and a "moving on..." from me.
