I thought you were also going to kill Tali for how she treats Xen in ME3.

No. I don't think that would even happen in my ME3 because I'd never make peace between the geth and quarians.

I don't have a problem with Mordin as a character, but if his voice actor isn't coming back then I don't want Mordin back.

It's a matter of principal.

The only reason I was planning on getting rid of Tali/Garrus was to prevent the romance.

I don't want to romance Tali anymore but if I don't then she gets with Garrus and that is cringe worthy.
Thing is, I have to find a way to roleplay it. Killing off Tali is
hard because there's no reason my Shepard wouldn't shout at the trial
and get her off scott-free.

I'm between a rock and a hard place.

If you are in a relationship with her you can tell her no in the meeting with Zevran and in response she expects some alone time with you later. However, I love the responses in that scene by your companion characters and just how ridiculous it is so I always go for threesome.

You have to go out of your way to, though. She really doesn't care about you, she isn't "falling" for you at all if she decides to have sex with another person while in a relationship with Hawke, without knowing or asking Hawke's opinion on the whole issue.

I'm going to go away now.

The ascrack is not only visible but accentuated by the color. It's really not much different to me.

(That was their point.)

I sensed as much.

I've heard that it may be possible to just not recruit Tali or Garrus in ME3, even if they are alive. You could try that.

Sure, it's visually not all that different. I do, however, have a hard time looking at ME1 armour and thinking "yep, that was designed to be sexy". Maybe I'm wrong? It wouldn't be the first time. Could be I just lack imagination. Not that I really buy into the whole 'this has been going on a while now' thing as reasoning why something isn't allowed to cause annoyance.

What's getting people - or me, at least - riled up over ME3 outfits isn't so much that they're sexy. It's the 'character X needed to be sexy, so we sexed them up' isn't even community speculation. It's literally described as being the justification for character design. So when stuff like this comes out, yeah, people're going to get annoyed by it.

Unfortunately Bioware forgot how to do it.

Full nudity in sex scenes, armoured in combat. NOT dry humping in sex scenes, catsuits in combat.

Thinking about killing off Garrus for exactly this reason. Might import a save where Kaidan is alive for similar reasons. And if I could short-circuit EDI, I'd be tempted to do that too.

No, it's just another over-sexualized women complaint thread. Nothing new here.

It's more than that, it changes Ashley's nature, shes not a prude but she is obviously the type of woman considers sex has it's place and a uniform is not the place.

What's even more worrying is that they will make her and Kaidan SS relationships for Shepard.

ME1 armor gave us plenty of sexy butt shots: pic related

However it wasn't nearly as sexualized as the stuff in ME2 or ME3. Let's be honest here.

You had to go out of your way in ME1 to stare at butts.

Screwed up image tags again. Whatever.

Maybe it didn't occur to her that it wasn't an open relationship.

A lot of people seem to be in general agreement with you regarding not seeing the 'designed to be sexy' with Ash's initial armor, so I'd say it isn't just you, at least. I just... I've never felt that way. It's always looked pretty ridiculous to me. /shrug

As for the rest of your post, yeah, that's what made me do a bit of a double-take. The art book is just... facepalm. So is that GameInformer interview with one of the designers from last year that gets mentioned from time to time, when he explained that the relative lack of female aliens was due to not knowing what to do to make them attractive.

I thought I heard somewhere you could avoid the EDI thing by shooting the robot out the airlock, but I'm not sure about that.

Bioware's IP, not theirs.  They don't like it, then can shove off.  I hear Star Wars or the pre FO3 Fallout Community is looking for more useless fans.

Run for the hills, the feminists have taken over BSN!!!

Can''t Ashley still be a smart, strong woman & have a fantastic arse? I'll tell you now that most women I know would show it off if they had her arse & that includes my wife who is a strong, smart woman (teacher). Besides don't most female gamers kill Ashley on Virmire? Seems almost a non issue, out of sight, out of mind I always say!

As a guy, all I can say is "Ashley, I hate to see you go, but love to see you leave".

The problem is because so many fans want them to be attractive.  I've heard so many people say "Can we have sex with _____ in ME 3" that were not actually joking.

I don't hate it because I hate seeing sexy people in my videogames. Sex sells I get it. Movies are no different, you will rarely see an unattractive person in a leading role.

I hate it because it goes against Ashley's previous characterization. You know, a soldier that likes to wear armor because it's practical. Not sexy.

Though I am at least happy they didn't whitewash her like I orginally thought they did.

It clearly didn't. Which means she wasn't thinking about what Hawke thought about it (the relationship), just what she thought about it.
