That would be a great way to lose her as well, considering she is all about results, and letting thousands of people die ffor her would be the opossite of what she would want.

@ OP

Don't like hypotheticals, but if I had to choose it would boil down to who we could afford to lose more. Pretty much agree with those who also say that your LI would probably resent the hell out of you for picking them simply because of your relationship. We're all selfish to some degree, but letting 40-50 men and women die simply because you don't want to lose your boy/girlfran? That's pretty bad.

You have to consider that it's a game universe, and by the point you're presented with that dilemma, your LI is probably the ONLY person in the entire galaxy your character can ever have an intimate relationship with.

I'd say the emotional comfort of the designated savior of the galaxy is far more important than the whole platoon of soldiers any time. If the savior can't do his job well, the galaxy is doomed anyway.
