I think most women want from men what they cannot provide. But there are some practical things guys can do, like lifting stuff and hammering stuff, and roto-tilling the garden. Putting fence posts in is a good too. Sperm is kind of in their control but they seem to give it up real easily and regularly so I guess it is not really in their control. It is also a good idea to have a couple of them around now and again for your straight friends.

A person should know themselves, first and foremost. If a man or woman truly believes that adding children to their lives would be a mistake, it very likely would. Relationships can be tricky enough to navigate, and children in the mix can polarize the difficulties (through no fault of their own, but the reality is- children require a great deal of care and effort to raise). That can be harmful to adults and kids alike. Ask anyone who has grown up in a dysfunctional home...
I do have children, so I see it from both sides.

What's wrong with a little selfishness? And must we always adhere to the sole "purpose" of our base instincts? We are human beings, not animals who operate on instinct alone. We are capable of thinking and doing far more than that, and so we should.
The fact of the matter is that kids are a lot of responsibility, and some don't want or can't handle that responsibility. That is their choice, and I don't think they should be looked down upon for it.
