It's been tough. It's been REALLY tough. I think that she deserves a fist to the face in both of her interviews, the second one even more so. But the fact of the matter is the questions that she asks need to be answered and justified, on either a paragon or renegade level. It's for the good of the Alliance viewing public.

But if BioWare has any heart it will let Ms. al-Jilani show up for one more interview in Mass Effect 3. And when she does, she's going to be on the receiving end of a punch that was three years in the making.

The best part though will be Shepard's one-liner after she goes down, though. I imagine it would be:

"You have NO IDEA how long I've wanted to do that! How does that floor taste?"

And then Kalisah will call me a son-of-a-**** and threaten to show the whole Alliance that footage. And I'll laugh at her.

For discussion: if your canon Shepard hasn't punched Kalisah yet, will you do so in 3? And if you do, what do you imagine Shepard will say after the punch?

Is this like a support group for those that haven't given in? If so, I approve. God I want to punch her so hard, but I just can't. Its not in my nature.

If there is a roundhouse kick option in ME3, then I might give in.

I'd rather make her look like a stupid fool by debating circles around her then make myself look like an ****hole. So I never have and never will punch her.

My canon Shepard will never punch Al-Jilani. Humilliating her on her own show is much more respectable, impressing and satisfying.

It HAS been 3 years in the making... and it's here now, and it's called vanguard heavy melee and it comes in biotic flavour ;)

I've never punched her. Probably won't punch her in ME3, either. The verbal smackdown that Shepard delivers is far more satisfying, and she didn't manage to make Shep look bad in ME1.

At any rate, Shepard is a genetically-modified, cybernetically augmented marine (in space!). Punching out unarmed civilians isn't the usual MO.

Al Jilani was one of the most squandered cameos of Mass Effect 2, after only Udina.

Oh Bioware, why can't you have a sensible antagonistic non-enemy two games running?

I'm with a lot of others, I found it way more entertaining to make her look like a moron instead. Although, depending on what kind of 'tude she brings in ME3, I might go Wayne Brady on that bia.

Punch? My vanguard has been saving a biotic charge just for her. But seriously I always get the urge but cant bring myself to do it. I did split my sides when I saw her get decked by the krogan & the turian. It would be funny if she comes up to Shep wearing armor in ME3.

I never clock her... she's just not worth it. My Shep only attacks challenges... and she isn't one (both physically and during an interview).^^

I've never really had the urge to punch her. It gives me a lot more satisfaction to rip her apart verbally. She is hurt a lot more by being one up-ed than just regular old punch. Plus the punch would just give her ammo. I just want her backed into a corner with nothing to draw on, just like how I've done.

Plus I'm a space marine with implants and combat specialties, she is just a reporter with a small frame. Hitting her would be really weird and not okay. You gatta pick on people your own size. If someone bothers you who is physically weaker than you, you can't just go around punching them to i guess "put them in their place".

Didn't punch her in ME1, punched her in the face in ME2 and it felt oh so right. Probably will again in ME3.

if Origin ever drops from mass3, my paragade shepard will floor her on sight. He wont even say anything, he'll just walk up to her from one end of the room and throw down.

Haven't done it yet, mostly just Renegade bullrushed her, so damn satisfying. But in ME3... in a time of war, who'll care if the guy/girl saving the Galaxy's ass let's loose a little...

Have yet to punch her, and probably won't in ME3 unless she goes even further over the line than I've tolerated thus far.  Punching her just makes shep look like a brute; verbally beating her down makes her look like a fool and calls her baiting insinuations for what they are.  I still love the Rengade (dialogue) option cutting her off in ME2.

"I didn't mean to accuse-"
"You're damn right you didn't."

You're also forgetting the volus who kicks her in the shins. classic!

But no, I've never punched her. I usually just use the verbal smack down and show what a bee-otch she is. Plus it's satisfying to beat someone at their own game when they obviously make a living of it.

Instigating a fight with (or in this case, assaulting) someone who is physically weaker than you are is stupid.
