Yes, it is. You think a woman can't **** you up? Especially if you are holding back because you think it is wrong to hit women?

In general, I think so.

Of course, you can find some elite female marine and she would **** up most men. In general though, woman are physically weaker.

Actually - not punching a female non-combatant that has some valid criticism and questions - isn't difficult at all.

This is just not true.

Saphra, there is a reason why they seperate men's and women's sports teams and it's not because we're all chortling about those crazy broads while sipping brandy in the smoking room.

If a woman is being attacked by a man of equal fitness, I'd suggest a gun permit.

Richard L. Jenkins
(they even gave him a middle initial :-p - seriously)

In general? So what if she isn't?

How about this: how about you don't beat up people who are physically weaker than you be they men or women?

Man or woman, if the person is smaller and weaker than you the fight is a tad unfair. However if they force you defend yourself anyway (because they CAN hurt you), then it is not somehow worse to retaliate on a woman than it is on a man.

Football players are by no means normal men. Most men are not built like that.

Stop looking to extremes.

Stop side-stepping the issue.

How is it worse for that 350 lb football player to strike a 180 lb woman than it is for him to strike a 180 lb man?

Well, yeah. Maybe one would push the woman away, and hit the guy in the face or something like that.

Because they are both men and she is a woman.

So it's circular reasoning, then?

If you keep asking the same question again and again you may get the same answer again and again.

Why the distinction? Guys can be injured and even killed as easily as women can.

And the answer will be wrong again and again.

I already did, in threads above. I am not argueing that it is not bad if a big strong guy bullies a weaker smaller guy. I said it is even worse if he does it to a woman. Of course it is also a question of honor if anyone have any.

I'm certainly not saying it is.  My concern is the people who see nothing wrong with any of it whatsoever, not even on a small level.

So you've been ignorring most of what a number people have written in this thread.

Well, if you're just going to ignore what anyone says anyway, no reason to keep trying. Thanks for the tip, though I doubt you'll register this.

I haven't been ignoring. In fact I think a lot of people are saying similar things in different ways. And I was making a blanket statement about the general attitude of some people about it, not necessarily directed at anyone in particular.  No reason for you to get hostile.

And I was making a blanket statement

making a blanket statement

a blanket statement

Ah, then it's alright. Because it's just the way things are, and that makes it acceptable.

Reading through the last few pages has taught me that some people here may be sexist, which is hella rude tbh.

We are arguing for a while. If you want all the reasons that can be given you can find them right here.

I don't even feel like to explain men how they are supposed to behave as men. That's something their parents were supposed to do, or friends, family or whatever. If I met a guy and I knew he'd be someone who beats women or girls I'd punch right in his face. No questions asked. That's how we do things around here. And it's not just me, really.

He doesn't need a reason to be hostile. Or at least he doesn't need anyone to give him one.

But at least in this case, I have two wonderful people providing more than enough reason to be aghast.

I'll spare you my honor and explaination both then. Because they go hand in hand.

Lol @ cultural standart. Where are you living?

Earth, for starts.

Where I come from beating women is unacceptable for any man.

Where I come from, beating anyone is unacceptable for anyone.

That's our cultural advancement that I would defend to the last breath.

That's culturally advanced from, well, last century.
