Seriously, I'd rather be dumb than arguing what you did so far. Because it sounds like a bunch of whining to me. But then again I have never been someone who felt the need to back down from a fight because I am oh so fragile.

Go brag about how you can beat up women virtually anywhere in the U.S., at least, that is not a county jail and I doubt you'll get a warm reception even on a college campus. To a society, women are valuable and are, when you drop the average woman next to the average man, physically weaker. It's ingrained in the culture and that's why it exists. You'll get the same gist even around people you think are geniuses.

I have never claimed that I can or that I should or that anyone should. I don't espouse beating up anybody for any reason.

I wasn't saying you were, I was saying that that sort of person that's known to beat up women would not be treated well no matter how high the community's 'IQ' was.

I'll take backing down from a fight getting a criminal record, prison sentence, or a hospital bill anytime. I don't need to prove myself to some dimwitted jarhead with a family tree that's devoid of any branches.

As to the actual topic, I tend to stick with the conversational responses to beat her in rhetoric rather than the punching. I'd guess the popularity of punching a reporter is one that has a refuge in absurdity, it's so out there as to be comedic. But if, say, Newt Gingrich decided to punch Rachel Maddow in the face because she was asking him questions...I think we know what would happen. Of course, that's Newt Gingrich. I'm sure if you picked someone that people actually LIKED, it still wouldn't go over well at all.

God forbid with time there will be fewer and fewer AlexXIV's in the world so we might make some progress.

It's been tough. It's been REALLY tough. I think that she deserves a fist to the face in both of her interviews, the second one even more so. But the fact of the matter is the questions that she asks need to be answered and justified, on either a paragon or renegade level. It's for the good of the Alliance viewing public.

But if BioWare has any heart it will let Ms. al-Jilani show up for one more interview in Mass Effect 3. And when she does, she's going to be on the receiving end of a punch that was three years in the making.

The best part though will be Shepard's one-liner after she goes down, though. I imagine it would be:

"You have NO IDEA how long I've wanted to do that! How does that floor taste?"

And then Kalisah will call me a son-of-a-**** and threaten to show the whole Alliance that footage. And I'll laugh at her. 

For discussion: if your canon Shepard hasn't punched Kalisah yet, will you do so in 3? And if you do, what do you imagine Shepard will say after the punch?

Hehe, I imagine one of my Sheps who´ve held back before might just snapped, but that really depends on her questions.
Again, depending on my Shep, the lines would differ. "That felt good" and "You´ve been begging for it all along" would be the runner-ups I guess

Actually, I think we'd be better off if people realized that men and women are not the same in every aspect.
