Come on, none of that chauvinist crap. Equal rights means women can get punched in the face for the same reasons men can. I'm a woman who supports cross-gender stupidity punching.

Anyway, in relation to the topic, I've never punched her and probably won't in ME3; I find it a lot funnier to humiliate her on her own show. But I'll reserve judgment until I actually hear her questions.

1. Al-Jalani isn't a combatant. She's a reporter. Not wanting to hit her isn't the same as not wanting to hit a female slaver who's firing at you.

2. Men not wanting to hit women isn't chauvinism. Globally, violence against women is mostly perpetrated by men while there's little violence against men perpetrated by women. Mass Effect might be set in a different time, but the players live in the current socio-historic reality.

When male Shepard punches al-Jalani in the face, the story is, "Dude makes annoying **** shut up by punching her."

If a man's default reaction to that is do not want, I think that's awesome.

I doubt she would take that angle, considering most Earth-residents have less exposure to aliens and thus are less likely to be offended by fantastic racism, and secondly, she's always tried to paint Shepard (at least in my runs) pro-alien or as a tool of the Council.
