I don't and won't punch her because she isn't a reporter - she's paparazzi.

As such, outsmarting her and making her look like a tool on her own broadcast is much more satisfying.

Of course - in ME1 she was just a nasty troll, in ME2 she was just a cold hearted cow - if in ME3 she continues her evolution to complete biatch - maybe I will sock her....

I save the game, punch her, reload the save and then do what I intended to do: punch her reputation with words....because that is just as satisfying.

My canon Shep played nice and diplomatic in ME1, but slugged her in ME2.

The difference for me is that Shep was deliberately trying to influence public opinion in his favor in Mass Effect 1, and had to play nice. In ME2 however, his reputation is ruined and that is no longer important. Most people think he's a conspiracy theorist nutter for believing in the Reapers, and the rumors of his associations with Cerberus don't do his reputation any favors either. There was no longer any point in playing it like a politician and trying to manipulate public opinion, so he decked her in ME2.

I like to think of my Shepard as a professional and honestly she is a nobody. I have had to face geth, spectres, mercs, criminals, collectors, husks, the shadow broker, krogan battlemasters, and I have even spoken to reapers, some 2 bit reporter is of no consequence. I'd rather save that punch for Udina or the Turian Councilor.

Still, it's sexism. There's no reason why a woman should be punched any less than a man.

Anyway, my Renegades are FemShep, so I only end up punching a woman as a woman regardless.

If someone is trying to kill me than of course I am going to defend myself with violence.  There are plenty of females in both games that I don't feel bad about obliterating.

My canon shep is too paragon to punch her and is satisfied with making her look foolish without resorting to physical violence. Both of my mansheps, however, believe in equal rights and punch her.

The woman isn't worth the effort to a punch to the face. It is MUCH more satisfying for me anyway to embarrass her on her own TV show. I LOVED the speech renegade/paragon Shepard's can give her.

Besides, if I'm lucky, she'll be on the recieving end of a Dragon's Teeth in ME3, which'll give me an excuse to shotgun her in the gut. MUCH more satisfying.

Yeah and honestly there are better lulz to get, especialy from Conrad Verner.

Never punched her. Saying what she wants is her right. Defending myself and showing how foolish she is is my right.

I never really felt anything she did or said was worthy of assaulting her, so I never hit her with even my Renegades except for 1 which I intentionally made to always do renegade acts... but all my other sheps followed a conduct of behavior (including my renegades) and smashing her face for being annoying never seemed to fit in.

I also found it more amusing to shut her up with Shep's wits and words instead... more satisfying to shut her up like that than a punch.

But for those who found it funny... well, good for them I guess.... pure Renegade Shep does far worse things than that punch, so it's pretty small stuff in hindsight.

Probably not. If we get a speech option like the Paragon-Charm option in ME2, then i'll use that.
Because it seems just so much more epic to put her down with words and figures, and "bullrush her own show".
