Pretty much this, you've lost the argument once you throw a punch, I've always prefered to use the paragon/renegade speech check, I thnk the whole point is that she was never going to physically hurt you so I've never understood the need to physically hurt her.lucidfox wrote...
Fists are the argument of the stupid. Seeing her humiliated with words is a lot more satisfying.
For all those who HAVEN'T clocked al-Jilani yet...

My canon Manshep really sticks it to her with the renegade dialogue options but he never hit her. The thought wouldn't have even crossed his mind. He's not in the habit hitting women (unless they're trying to hit or shoot him first). In fact he's not in the habit of physically assaulting random civilians (unless they are utter scumbags he needs information from or something).

A Paragade going into ME3 full Paragon, to try and rally morale, but slowly snapping inside, so s/he does stuff like punch annoying paparazzi on a whim, and lash out easily.
Could be interesting for the roleplaying type of person.
As for me? Depends - if she tries the Chewie Defence one too many times... POW.

It's been tough. It's been REALLY tough, I know. We all know that she deserves a fist to the face in both of her interviews, the second one even more so. But the fact of the matter is, the questions that she asks need to be answered and justified, on either a paragon or renegade level. It's for the good of the Alliance viewing public.
But if BioWare has any heart it will let Ms. al-Jilani show up for one more interview in Mass Effect 3. And when she does, she's going to be on the receiving end of a punch that was three years in the making.
The best part though will be Shepard's one-liner after she goes down, though. I imagine it would be:
"You have NO IDEA how long I've wanted to do that! How does that floor taste?"
And then Kalisah will call me a son-of-a-**** and threaten to show the whole Alliance that footage. And I'll laugh at her.
For discussion: if your canon Shepard hasn't punched Kalisah yet, will you do so in 3? And if you do, what do you imagine Shepard will say after the punch?
Actually...no, it hasn't been tough at all. Because what's-her-name is merely a typical reporter, and I don't go around clocking the reporters I meet. I have something called self-control. It's pretty great.
Not only that, but anyone who goes around socking people who ask them leading questions is a fool. And lacks argumentative skill, as others have already said.

I say we kill her.
Because Shepard should totally kill every person who has ever mouthed off to him/her. That's not at all psychopathic.

I don't punch her. According to the Shadow Broker's files, she has been punched by Krogan and kicked by a Volus intervewee lol

I support this, scene, Shepard starts walking towards her, reporter punches female shep, kicks male shep in the groin, walks away with the words "I'll probably lose my job, but that was well worth it"bobobo878 wrote...

I liked the charm option better. Shepard naming the cruisers is likely her/his greatest moment of awesome.aLucidMind wrote...

Paragon is amazing, in both games he makes her look like an idiot who didn't do her research. Freaking awesome.
