I'm saying that hitting her doesn't change whether Shepard is a hero or not. I have not once in this thread advocated or defended hitting her.

Hitting a man for no reason is bad, hitting a woman for no reason is worse. Actually hitting a woman is always bad unless maybe in self defense if you have no choice. That's of course if we assume it happens in a hostile manner. If you slap your girl on the butt it's something different.

Absolutely adored intimidating her in ME1/ME2, calling her out on disrespecting the dead and then leaving the interview (ME2) or mentioning Machiavelli (ME1) was better than the paragon alternatives (imo).

I don't remember doing it in ME2, but I did do it in ME1 and I remember enjoying it as well.

Well I said 'your girl' if you didn't notice. There is alot of sexual assaulting in a relationship and that's mostly ok. I don't care if you call it sexism. We could discuss sexism in broad but not going to do it here and now. So in my book it is not sexism. It is what I expect a man to understand and accept without drawing the sexism card.

Me? I am well aware of the differences between reality and fiction so no I don't see anything wrong with it on a small level.

IF this was RL I'd condemn Shep shooting Conrad in the foot as much as him punching Al-Jilani. As it's a video game, I simply laugh at both. No one's actually being hurt. They're pixels.

So you've been ignorring most of what a number people have written in this thread.

The Paragon persuade for not saving the council is an abomination.  I wanted to punch Shepard then, even if she is a woman.
