I want to buy Mass Effect 2 on the PlayStation 3. However, I have two questions that I need answers for before I do so.
1) Is all the DLC that's free to download for the Xbox 360 and PC with the Cerberus Network free with the PlayStation 3's Cerberus Network?
2) I've heard that assignments that are done in the first game will carry over to the second, but, since there's no Mass Effect 1 for the PlayStation 3, what happens to this?
I'd appreciate the help.

to access the network, you would need the activation code for it. The cerberus network code might not be working... i bought me2 2 days ago just knowing that the code is invalid/expired... after a few hours with the ea support, they might have a solution for the problem... if you dont mine following the steps to use the code, feel free to buy me2... but as for your questions, there would be an interactive comic for you to enjoy, as a replacement for me1... so as your chose the choices in the comic, it will affect me2. the dlc would be included free only if your can activate the ceberus network.. so buy at your own risk... for the solution if you cant activate the code... you would need to...
First of all, check the region of the game by looking at the number inside the globe on the case.
1 - United States, Canada, Bermuda, U.S. territories
2 - Europe (except Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus), Middle East, Egypt, Japan, South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Greenland
3 - Southeast Asia, South Korea, Republic of China (Taiwan), Hong Kong, Macau
4 - Mexico, Central America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, Oceania
5 - India, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Africa (except Egypt, South Africa, Swaziland, and Lesotho), Central and
South Asia, Mongolia, North Korea
6 - People's Republic of China, Hong Kong
Then, create a new PSN Account with the same region as the disc you bought.
Here is the steps to create a new PlayStation Network account.
1. Press the PS button the controller to enter the PlayStation 3 XBM (XrossMediaBar).
2. Select the Users tab.
3. Select Create a New User Account and press the X button.
4. Enter a name for the account and login to the new user account.
5. Select the Friends tab.
6. Select Sign up for PlayStation Network and press the X button.
Note: When creating the new PlayStation Network account, please use a different, valid and accessible e-mail address.
Login to the new account and redeem the access code. It will work this time and allow you to download and install the online access file from the PSN Store.
After it is installed you can now use your normal account from your region to play the game online.

No, that's not what I meant. I know all about Genesis, but I want to know if you can change EVERYTHING that you do in the first Mass Effect in the comic, like assignments. The only thing I've heard about it is you can choose the important things, like who dies on Virmire, but can you affect the little details?
