There is always the sperm donation angle if you want to ensure your progeny shall cover the earth and not have any legal responsibilities towards raising them. You can actually make quite a bit of money with donations, some guys in their twenties can actually have a bit of a "career" in it

Someone with a hereditary medical condition, as well as a family history of numerous genetic disorders, has no business doing such a thing. Best to let my line end with me.

In that case they'd probably screen you out. Genetic disorders tend to drum you out of the system. Though if you have generally good genetics (i.e. no horrible diseases) it's a good way to get some cash, ensure your genetic legacy, and give some childless couple some hope. :wizard:

Very relevant, if you're any good at reading symbolism in art that is.

no, i don't. not at this point in my life anyway. losing freedom and having a financial burden in my early twenties is not appealing. there's also the process of birth that is kind of off putting.

i mean i am sure i'll have them eventually. when i'm old. but not now. no bueno.

Yeah that's pretty much my reason too. There's so much I want to do and quite frankly I feel that I'm not ready to lose my freedom in raising a family. Not to mention I don't want to be shackled with more debt since I currently have a lot of loans to pay back (graduated college not too long ago so i have a lot of loans.)

And the whole process of carrying a baby to term scares the crap out of me.

Maybe when I'm much older i might consider it... but right now I am content with living a single life and not dealing with children.

... Speaking of which, I don't really like children anyway XP

At some point, yeah.

I mean, what better way to share my greatness with the world?

I only wanted kids so they could help with the chores.

Seriously, though, I have a daughter 17 years old. Would I do it again? NO. But do I regret it? Definatley not, I can't imagine my life without her.

Nope, not for me. More power to those that feel otherwise; I'm sure it's a wonderful thing if your heart's in it.

Can't have my own kids. So no.

I could adopt, but that's another list of problems I don't want to have to deal with.

I already have two step daughters (ages 23 and 19). But I still wouldn't mind having one of my own.

Having a family is a suicide mission for a man these days, so the desire to propragate my DNA notwithstanding, no.

Have three lovely and occasionally mischievous offspring, will almost certainly have one or two more. Must fulfil the natural social duty - the world needs a greater proportion of excellent people in my opinion. :)
