It's not a shortage. It's very specific retailers running out of inventory. THERE'S PLENTY OF CE OUT THERE. EA only gives so many out to Gamestop and Amazon, not all of them.

There are still CE pre orders available. I pre ordered 2 copies online today, one at gohastings.com, and the other at fye.com.

I checked target's online site too just a little while ago, they still have Collector's Editions available. Plenty still out there, just have to look.

Will this "less sting" be available for 360/PS3? Although PS3 can still be found in a lot of places as Bioware over-estimated how many to make for PS3 since that was the last platform you guys put ME2 to.

And the PC already has the DDE "less sting". So I would guess you guys are mainly looking for a 360 "less sting".

Target will send you an e-mail later stating they ran out and the delivery will be pushed back to late March like March 28. Basically since BW said no more printing, that equals Target won't get more to meet that later ship date.

The PC version is even easier to find... You have your own problems, clearly. Do you not get how this production system works? They can't just say, "Hey, make us 20,000 more Steelbook tin cases  with less than a month until release. Some people want it to not be limited and don't understand how to order existing stock from some retailers."

They allowed to order those CE's for a long time and there was even an information that they will have more of them! I ordered my copy on the 4th of june, this is not right, no matter what they will do it doesn't change anything if I won't get the CE.

Still sounds like the store's fault. If the store told you they would have it, then backed out, blame the store. EA doesn't force stores to offer it to you, they make an agreement for purchases. That store messed up, that store should be the group you deal with.

They will not say until after release, as those are all incentives for buying and preordering. The hope is that the mass amounts of exclusive DLC, at least the random multiplayer stuff, will get released eventually like many major games do now, but there is no certainty.

CE DLC is rather unlikely to get a separate release.

It would be nice if the dlc content was available for purchase later on. No ones gonna get a upset that a random person purchased the N7 armor and weapons through dlc 2-3 months after the game came out.
