I pre ordered the collectors edition for PC like...the start of this month from gamestop. It says collectors edition, but I'm just confused, will I not get the collectors edition or something?

Preordered CE at 11 January. Today received email from my local retailer (gram.pl) that they won't be able to fulfill my order, cause number of CE copies got reduced.I'm very disappointed and affraid that in this case i will be cancelling my preorder completely.

Yes, but i had order placed almost a month before they announced that CE run out (1st February IIRC). I'm talking about PC version cause X360 and PS3 are still available in stock.

I pre-ordered in August, I just hope the jerks in the store don't sell it like they did my ME2 CE.

Man, the only reason I preordered from Gamestop was for the bonus DLC, I don't want to be bumped down to the default edition without being told, thus far since I ordered about 20 days ago I haven't.

I just keep hearing about how so many places are out of it, but gamestop online says nothing about it being sold out ._.

Has Bioware stated they are not making anymore after release?! I had to wait until I got my taxes to preorder the CE but now I can't :-( I'm willing to wait to play it until I can get a CE

I have never had the money until now! Please make more. I guarantee you will have people buying.. The worst part is the people buying multiple copies just to sell them on E-bay. This takes away from poor fans like me that don't have expendable income at any given moment.

What country do you live in? There's still some around at least in America, Euro's have it the hardest.

Hearing about all the horror stories of people having their pre-orders cancelled is making me seriously nervous. Even though I know this kind of thing always happens with games.. it still makes me nervous.

Though it seems like most people having problems are those who ordered from websites, as opposed to in stores.

I pre-ordered my CE back in November from a physical store so I hope I will be fine..

It might be people who put down whatever the initial cost price was and then haven't paid the balance yet. Lots of products/services oversell (airlines being perhaps the best example) because they know some people will fall through and it servers their bottom lines better, and when you've put forth less than 10% months ago the retailer has no incentive no to move the order to somebody who can provid the retail cost.

 I paid off my collector's edition a while ago. I feel the pain of those who didn't get it in time however. I remember when Mass Effect 2 came out I searched like 8 Gamestops until I finnaly found one that had a single ME2 CE left. I had to drive totally out of my way to get it but I managed.  If you guys aren't able to get it try calling stores, or searching online (ebay will be over priced though). Also Best Buy usually has tons of extra CE in the store on release day as people only preorder online from them since thier preorder service sucks in store. Good luck  if you are searching for it.

Damnit! Wanted the CE for PC but can't find it available anywhere online in the UK. However GAME still have the PS3 CE version available.

Unless you're going to the physical store to pre-order, you don't have to pay a dime if you're pre-ordering from Amazon or gamestop.com.

Hi, I live in France but I order only from the UK because french voice-overs are atrocious and impossible to get rid of in the game... I've only managed to get enough money for the game now, does anyone know where you can still preorder the Xbox 360 CE version in UK stores? If not, will Bioware release new CE after launch?

it sure is gonna be great being able to enjoy my highly sought after collector's edition of the highly acclaimed 3rd installment of mass effect for the xbox 360. does that anger you? does the fact that i will get to enjoy a limited edition experience and you will not lower the quality of your life? your anguish arouses me. sexually.

I would like to point out that Best Buy almost always has CEs sitting on the shelf the day of launch... and usually will have some sitting around long after the game has gone live/gold.

Case in point: the BB down the street from me, still has a Star Wars TOR CE sitting on the bottom shelf of a corner display collecting dust. I was just there today and saw it.

BB ran out of preorders online. However they still have the option to preorder in store pick up (whether the link actually will fulfill the request I don't know).

 Well I can't get the XBOX 360 version here in the UK,I did pre order a copy last year from Game,but found out today via the internet that they won't be selling it,they didn't have the decency to inform me and now I can't find one anywhere except ebay at more than twice the price,so yes please make more of them.

There was a thread earlier today that... Tesco's, I think it was had them in stock again. At inflated prices, but not as horrible as ebay.

The odd thing is many UK retailers are saying they oversold. So what is this bollocks EA is feeding everyone else? They're just spreading it as far and wide as they can and watch the retailers scrap for the right to sell ME 3. They know it makes money.
