Lying to the Krogan on the Citadel and Giving him the Fish to make him happy. TBH, despite the lying, it fits a tad bit more into the Paragon Category IMHO.

Hmmmmm....can't think of any others.

I think you are mixing up Torfan with Mindoir.

Mindoir is the colony where Shepard was born (if he's a colonist). Mindoir was raided by batarian slavers, who killed Shepard's parents.

Torfan was a planet home to a Batarian criminal organisation, that was raided by an Alliance infiltration team (including Shepard, if he has the ruthless reputation).

You sir are correct.  I've been juggling too many play-throughs lately.  But regardless, their poor reputation was well-earned with many Shepards.

You're not lying to make him feel better.   You're lying to sell him a "Presidium" fish at a profit.

Yeah but he's still happy. When I think of Renegade, I think of intimidation and/or execution.

I know he had that money to buy a new gun, but I'll take my chances in ME3. I'm trying to complete my Canon in time for ME3, and I don't want to start over for a 4th-5th time.

-Choosing Morinth over Samara.
-Telling Harot to extort/blackmail/whatever Kenn even more (Omega shopkeepers).
-Shooting Conrad in the foot.
-Keeping David in the Overlord project.
-Giving Legion to Cerberus.

I'm not keen on the option to encourage Jack to kill Aresh either. I'd have prefered if Shep had the option to let Jack decide for herself.

So it's OK to shoot these guys but it's not OK to electrocute them?

What does the suffering of one person matter if you can avoid a war?
Yes I realize Overlord becomes useless after meeting Legion and doing his loyalty quest. That's why I always do it before getting Legion so that the choice actually seems to matter.

Punching the reporter in ME2 - in ME1 there was a least a few questions a bit more dialogue of her trying to push your buttons.
Not choosing Samara in her loyalty mission.
Having Talitha shot.

Thats pretty much the only three I can think of that just didn't make sense beyond being an arse.

Edit: Shooting Conrad in the foot - that whole thing was just out of place with ME in general.

Now I'm assuming you read the leak and Legion will betray you. Oh boy... Now I'm worried.

I'm not gonna lie, I always destroy the base because the threat of indontrination is too great.

If we only actually learned more about it on virmire than simple "Oh it rots your brain".

And how do you plan to combat if if you don't plan to study it?
With hiugs and kisses?

Keeping Legion is a Paragon decision. This is Bioware.
Think for a second.

Giving Cerberus the base.
1. It's Reaper tech, there's no such thing as Reaper tech that doesn't indoctrinate the beejesus out of everyone.
2. Cerberus personnel have a lower survival rate than Star Trek red shirts.
Not a combo I can allow.

I personally think that electrocuting the Batarian is the epitomy of the renegade actions. In one callous execution you instantly help your own cause.

Hell, I do that on my paragon play throughs!

He's a bad guy. I'm allowed to kill bad guys. :D

It doesn't actually do you any good since it's only a title and nothing else, besides that the council members are a bunch of annoying, ungrateful bastards.
And finally: Being a badass > Sucking up to the Council.

I'm thinking there is a slight difference between an unprovoked attack and shooting at those who attack first.

1. Exterminating the Rachni
2. Wiping out the Feros Colonists
3. Killing Rana
4. Killing the brainwashed/indoctrinated Salarians on Virmire (the ones in the cell where you cutscene gun them down)
5. can't think of a 5th

2) Calling out the Asari hostage taker as being a stripper (instead of intimidating her... which is what the paragon option is)

I thought that was funny. And anyway, Shepard was just keeping her attention.

Telling the council to blow their Spectre status out of their collective ass was awesome. I'm just sad there's not a No Gods No Masters route in ME3.

my fave ones are:
Kicking the merc out the window on Thane's recruitment mission, the "how 'bout goodbye?" line is awesome.
The interrogation for Thane's loyalty mission - being the bad cop when I'm supposed to be the good cop haha.
Being a massive jerk to Ashley during the first mission of ME1 and then on the Normandy afterwards when she gives lip - telling her to become competent to avoid future occasions of abuse.
Prank calling the council in ME1 - contacting them and then disconnecting for lols.
Not really renegade but letting Kasumi die in the reactor explosion on the suicide mission - her 'aahh' grunt as she dies is quality.
