I thought it be best to post a Thread of many ME fans who done the DLC "Arrival" on Insanity Difficulty and were able to Surivive the 5 Waves at Project Rho. There's many stratgeies of handling it, I thought it be good to see all of them discussed.

It's all about positioning. You need to camp in an area where they can't easily flank you.

I have this one spot were the enemies only attack me from one direction, so then its all about conserving my ammo and using my powers at the right times.

I'm more interested in Seeing Vanguards, Adepts, and Engineers do this.

Fret not. There's hope for the Vanguards. Do you have the "Claymore Shotgun?" If so - Biotic Charge into your oppoetents and then finish them off with the Claymore Shotgun.
Once Mastered - you'll have no problem

It is possible for Adepts; just make sure to grab the assault rifle from the collector ship lol Focus on getting shields and such down, then use area Lift and Singularity. Only focus ammo on those with protection while the enemies are lifted; if they're really close then Warp-bomb the lifted enemies to hurt many. Much harder than it sounds, obviously.

Give your Adept the bonus power energy drain, and then you can take down shields, barriers, and armor with powers.

Arrival Vanguard Insanity no cover. Props to Kronner.

You should check out Kronner's thread as posted by clopin.
Personally I find the Vanguard to have the easiest time fighting there with minimum cover and you dont really need the Claymore to do so, although the Claymore will allow you to mow enemies down like paper dolls. XD

That vanguard vid... is INSANE. I can never get a handle on a vanguard. My infiltrator keeps me warm at night.

I did it with a soldier. Not easy...just find a spot that works and be patient. You know, kill 'em with bug-bites.

Take fully upgraded Claymore, also search for lonely sheep, watch out Pyros... "Search for lonely sheep" seems to be the best way for me to avoid being cornered - this makes Vanguard the best for avoiding trouble there.Hillbillyshep wrote...

My Engineer had Mattock and spammed drones / Incinerate. Nothing to see there.
Adept had Locust... and that was long, because Singularity is sloooooow at stripping defences.
The trickiest part for everyone (except maybe Vanguard) is when you run out of ammo in main weapon and forced to switch to another or run around searching for ammo.

I can't wait to try this with my vanguard Shep on insanity. I've done it on hardcore no problem thanks to the abuse of my heavy shockwave.

This. Although finding the spot can be a pain in the butt.
I played an Adept and just shockwaved the hell out of everyone over and over, and occassionally used Miranda's Slam ability until the guys with shields came out and the heavy mech, then I had to use my gun.
