I've played many hours of ME2 on this exact PC setup last year and now can't seem to connect to the cerberus network since I got Verizon FiOS.  It definitley has something to do with the new router they gave me because I can connect and validate my DLC just fine if I connect to my company VPN before starting ME2.  (All traffic then goes through my company's firewall.)

I've tried opening the ports listed in the readme file, but still can't get it to work.  Hell, I've even made my PC the DMZ and it still wouldnt work! I guess what I'm asking of the community is:

Does anyone else use Verizon FiOS with thier supplied router and can you play ME2 ok?  It's hilarious that it works through my company's firewall but not my FiOS one.  *frustration*

EDIT:  Heh, I guess it doesnt matter now that I have validated my DLC once.  I thought I would need to validate every time.  Oh well, I guess I will go with that.  At least I can play now that I validated the DLC

Just wanted to reply to say I fixed it. Of all the things I read, it didn't mention this so I will put it up here for others to maybe find it in a search:

In my Internet Options, under the connections Tab, it was set to "Always Dial a Connection". This happened after I configured my company VPN a few weeks ago, I guess. I realized the problem when some other app popped up with a "choose connection to dial" screen and that totally tipped me off as to why ME2 wasnt working. It was trying to dial the default connection. Once I set it to "Never Dial", ME2 connects!
