How can this be done (and why isnt it easy?)?
Back when ME1 came out I didnt have an xbox, and now I do, and I want to play ME3 at MY house on MY box with MY character, who is currently located on my friend's box under his account. I would like to reassign my savegames to my account, please.
Who knows how?

I've heard that it's possible using one of the programmes, but that would be a mod question. Since I don't do mods I can't help you; all I can suggest is you check out the mod threads on the character creation boards to see if they can provide you with the info you need to do so.
