Rachni queen did you let her go and why?

1. She is not responsible for the sins of other rachni.
2. The other Rachni seem to have been indoctrinated, which means she is not guilty of anything in any conceivable way.
3. Killind a defenseless innocent trapped in a tank is for Renegades. As is Genocide.
4. Who says they are more prone to Indoctrination? I got the feeling that Sovereign's call was kind of a sucker punch, and took them by surprise.
5. She sincerely regrets the Rachni Wars and agrees with us killing them.
6. Reapers. Massive Armies are very useful when it comes to Reapers.
And I don't regret my decision at all. The Asari on Illium told us that the Rachni are basically minding their own business, occasionally killing off the odd pirate and rescuing the occasional civilian. Hardly a menace to galactic peace.

Honestly, I'd kill her IRL.
Never done it in-game, though. I am admittedly a softie.
This statement is nonsensicle.-

A thought occured. Why do so many people say killing her is genocide? It's closer to murder.
Because she is the last Racni Queen (that we know of) and without her the Rachni have no chance of being able to re-populate their race. So you if you kill her you kill their entire race, hence genocide!

Oh they will, have no doubt about that. It's what comes later that is the problem. IMO their help isn't worth the potential price.

Even if it´s virtual, the easiness some people have to commit genocide of an intelligent species is really scary.

So basically, if someone kills a young woman, it's genocide because she had the capability to produce offspring?

Shepard in ME1 is essentially a cross between James Kirk and James Bond (but female!), so I thought, what would they do? Kirk would definitely spare the rachni; so would Bond - it's the right thing to do, and it ****s a hoop at authority (the Council).
My MalShep is a total git (or was in ME1 - Tali surprised him in ME2, and she may be making him nicer... we'll have to see). He's basically a cross between Mirror universe Kirk and the snide Bond of the unfunny quips ("He had a lot of guts!"). So he killed the queen without hesitation, then snarked.
From my FemShep's PoV, she's trying to save the Galaxy! That includes the rachni, especially since they were the opening salvo in Sovereign's secret war. As a spectre she has the authority, but also the responsibility, to fight for all species. Despite having the colonist background, she helped batarians where she could in ME2, and let the underling leave in 'Bring Down the Sky' - even though she sacrificed the hostages to take down Balak (a clear and present danger). She's no namby-pamby, though - she let the Council die, without any remorse, as Sovereign had to be taken down at-all-cost. She was also happy to stab gunship technicians in the back (tactically sound - would have to kill him anyway in the end) and push mercs out of windows (he took part in a massacre of innocent salarians - guilty). And also happy to use standard execution on those who express no remorse or are trying to escalate, like martinet Exogeni execs and corrupt strip club owners. She's a philosopher.
GitShep, if in doubt, kill'em. He just doesn't care. If they get in the way, a bullet will do. Unless they're a hot chick, or have cash.

I will have a billion Shepard spider babies doing my bidding!
Upon which time, ye shall all bow down before the evolved monkey-spider god known as Shepard.

What the Council did to the Rachni and the Krogan are expressly different, Mordin explains this perfectly. Both had to be stopped. Completely obliterating them is one thing, stopping them in their tracks is another. The Council had no choice with the Krogan, their only options was to neuter them or kill them; the Krogan would have fought to the end.
Did bioware hire you to make that statement it sounds like you worked IRL with Mordin.
That statement is ridiculous. I loved the option to spare Mordin's apprentice in ME2. I practically only got ME2 to save the krogan and bring them back into honest living.
