well seeing as she is hated by all races: charged at by a krogan, kicked in the shin by a volus and punched twice by sheppard. you should be rewarded for leaving an impression(the black eye) on her face that would make her think twice (or a couple hundred seeing as she has a history of pissing off people to the point they get violent with her) about being a reporter.

in me3 we should see her come up to sheppard "commander sheppard, please don't punch me. I'm sorry for being a complete failure and volunteer myself for a suicide mission against the reapers. any planet you want me at I'll solo it, I'll have better odds against the reapers then issuing you off again."

sheppard replies " great! I got just the job for you. head into dark space alone and interview the reapers."

Yes, for not creating huge political ****storms by attacking a civilian reporter mid-question(atleast in ME2). That's... in case you forgot... not good. Doesn't paint a pretty picture of Shepard if they go around punching people who ask them questions.

Nothing like emotional blackmail to make someone do what you want. Or even better regular black mail. Either way using sex as a way to gain something from another person rather than a connection between two people is sub human and revolting.

Perhaps it's the paragon in me, but I'd love it if there was a theme of various jerkish/annoying characters from the previous games, like Khalisah or the Turian Councillor, showing, that despite their flaws, in the crunch they are in fact still capable of acts of heroism and bravery.

This shouldn't be contingent on Shepard's previous interactions, but you might feel a bit guilty about how you've treated Khalisah if you saw her die while desperately trying to carry her Asari lover to safety.

(On a totally different note "punched the reporter" sounds like it really should be a euphemism for something)
