Cerberus ISN'T working for the Reapers in ME3... at least... not ALL of Cerberus is working for the reapers...

Just everyone indoctrinated and TIM pulling a Saren.  Supposedly.

Some people are forgetting the Genophage was *not* deployed by the Salarians or even intended to be deployed. They created the virus as a deterrent against their own worlds being invaded.

The Turians then decided to deploy it unilaterally since its their doctrine to decimate an enemy so that they can never be a threat again.

They take a lot of flak for making it in the first place, sure, but humans make and test viruses all the time without intention of releasing them.

you know that is very key  point that I forgot...

Actually, creating the Genophage was twisted enough. Look at the Cold War here, in Earth. Piling up nuclear weapons is bad, it doesn't matter if you want to use them.
But indeed, I forgot too, that it was the turians who actually delivered the virus.

Thats a valid point  as well,  so they are equal in the blame.

Oh its certainly doesn't make them angels. They developed a virus that could cull the population of an entire species. That's some sick stuff.

But, the turians took the very first chance they had to infect the Krogan with it. Speaks volumes on their military doctrine.

NOPE! WRONG!

Cerberus only APPEARS to be working for the reapers. None of it is true however. The Illusive Man has different plans for himself, for humanity and for the reapers.

PCG is obviously wrong here.

True, but the STG deployed the modification to the genophage on Tuchanka.

This is true. But I kind of see that as standard STG operating procedure, they always follow through. So once it was deployed it was a matter of "following through on what we caused to preserve galactic peace".

Personally, I wouldn't be too inclined to let them start breeding either, if I had *any* kind of hand in neutering them in the first place.

I don't listen to propaganda, if my father taught me one thing well, don't trust propaganda talk, look deeper than supposed historical facts, best example was growing up believing indians were the bad guys thanks to the victor writing the history.

The fact that no one believes that story anymore is a falsification to this ridiculous theory.

TIM's objectives are clearly completely un-Saren-like.

But haters gonna hate, despite everything.

"The Illusive Man has different plans for himself, for humanity and for the reapers."  I think that's true, and BioWare just bluring the facts, but we'll see:happy:

Cerberus is planning to control the Reapers. Shepard is planning to destroy them.

That's why the two are bumping heads in ME3. Simple.

I really don't care about myself, but it really annoys me to go to all the trouble avoiding spoiling everyone, and trying to make a point without doing so. And then someone that apparently is not massless comes and ruins it all.

I thought bioware stated that's what they were doing in like the first magazine articles on it

You know what annoys me even more? People saying "lol, they're indoctrinated so they must work for the Reapers!" all the time.

It's just that. An annoying misconception.

Yeah, it even was in a stickied thread about one of those magazines which covered Cerberus' reasons for attacking for a while.

Depends on what you view as good and evil to me experimenting on both their own men and kidnapped individuals is evil, wanting to further their view of what a human should be regardless of the fallout or deaths involved would count, this organization has so many things they do, prescribe to, or support that aren't good long or short run. They're basically like an armed version of the triple K mixed with N.a.z..i  tendencies in space. If you can support that you're pro Cerberus if you can't you're anti Cerberus.

I don't remember this at all. When I first stated my opinion that TIM was actually fighting the Reapers, lots of evidence circuled around and I got to see Hudson himself stating blatantly that Cerberus was "working with the Reapers" (verbatim) and that it was our task to understand "why". I didn't have anyone pointing this out to me. If this is the case, then they have spoiled it already and practically no one (but a few here apparently) have noticed it.

Wtf..why would TIM want to do that?.. I don't get it. It clearly seems like technology that can't be controlled. What a flippin idiot.

Isn't time we all evolved beyond such base terms such as good and evil.
