I've just bought mass effect 2 in origin and when i try to put on cerberus it says that is already in use. What should i do?

^ check there and see if you have your cerberus content unlocked. Rumor was Origin automatically used the code and thus you didn't need to enter it again. IF you don't have content then contact EA.

I'm having a similar problem, but it's my own doing. When I first bought the game I used my Cerberus code and got the DLC that came with it. Now 2 year and one particularly horrible virus later I am attempting to play the game over to "re-create" my Shep for ME3. The problem I'm having is that when I use the same code as before it's listed as used, as it should be, however I no longer remember my original account information. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I would go about retrieving this information? Thanks in advance for any help provided.
